Christmas was approaching in Nurmengard, actually coming that night. After breakfast Queenie and Aurora were in the kitchen and baking gingerbread. The whole castle was filled with the smell of magically fragrant (and delicious) cookies, and everyone was already waiting for to taste it after dinner. In the huge kitchen on hthe dishes towered in the sink, trays, and baking papers everywhere, the counters and their aprons covered in flour, and the two witches talking cheerfully and humming Christmas songs.

It seemed like a perfect holiday.

Soon later, of course, the scents seduced Grindelwald into the kitchen, and of course the thought of seeing his love baking excited him more. He entered the kitchen at an easy pace with a smile on his face.

"How's the baking going, ladies? What are these heavenly scents?" He asked, glancing at Aurora with a dreamy look.

The gingerbread was aready baked inside the oven, and Aurora was just working on the icing.

"Would you like to taste the icing? It's just finished and I wanna know if you like it?" She asked happily.

"Sure." He said, and approached her to take a closer look at the cream.

She took a smaller spoon, he drained it into the cream and then put it in his mouth gently, as if feeding a baby. As he tasted it, Aurora giggled while wiping off the excess icing off his mouth, and then he licked it off her finger too.

"Delicious!" He said, and kissed her forehead.

"I'm glad you like it, honey."

"Would you like to take a walk with me out there?" He asked sweetly.

"Of course I would, but I need to help Queenie with the decorating."
"No, no, just go, I'll finish." She smiled, and winked at her.

"Okay, thank you." She said, and walked out of the door with Grindelwald his arms around her waist.

After they took on their coats and scarfs, they went out into the bright whiteness that covered he whole landscape. The wind blew the girl's hair as they dug the high snow with their feet.

His breath caught as he looked at her and saw how beautiful she was. Tiny snowflakes stuttered in her hair, beautiful highlighting her turquoise blue eyes.

"Sweetheart." He whispered, and she looked at him with a smile. "If you knew how unbelivably beautiful you are." He told her and the heat rose up to her cheeks.

"I love you so much, Gellert." She smiled and gave a soft kiss on his cheeks.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a kiss. The way their cold lips collided, their body immediately warmed up and the air sparkled around them. In the passionate moment we paid no attention to anything, and our tounge wandered deeper and deeper into each other's mouths.

Moments later, however, unexpectedly as she pushed her love backwards in the heat, they slipped on the icy snow, fell backwards, and the girl fell on him.

For seconds they just looked at each other in surprise, then burst out laughing. She had never heard him laugh before. The beautiful sound here ars and gave her even more joy.

"I'm sorry." She giggled against his lips.

"It's fine, love." He smirked, and kissed her once more, continued the making out in the snow. They were perfectly happy together. Not even the cold bothered them. They were together. Happily. That was the only thing that mattered.

Queenie looked out of the kitchen's window, from where she saw straight at them as they lay in the snow. She suddenly smiled in delight, she was truly happy for them.
