Virgil and Roman walked next to Logan, they talked to a battle strategist and had to ask for someone who knew why Virgils memories would be blocked. Logan studied the human psyche and had an idea of why. "To reiterate, it's likely that Virgil has some sort of a mental block."
Virgil nodded, trying to understand. "How can I get past it?" They were walking to the castle library in hopes of finding more research about this.
Logan thought for a moment. "Do you have any strong emotional connections to anyone?"
Virgil facepalmed. "Deceit ruins everything again."
"Is that the one couple's son?" Roman asked.
Virgil nodded. "Perhaps you need to get over your emotions for him, given you want to." Logan suggested. "There is somewhere you could go, but it is more dangerous."
Roman felt a wave of intrigue. "What's it called?"
"The cave of Portum," Roman froze. "It is fabled to have a river with supposed magical abilities." Logan said.
Virgil thought for a second. "I've never heard of it.
Why am I panicking? I can deal with a little cave! Roman mentally shook himself. "Shall I get horses and ask for supplies?"
"That depends on Virgils answer." Logan looked at Virgil expectantly.
"Okay, I guess we're doing this." Virgil sighed.
