3- I'm sorry

  (... I'm bad at conveying emotions... but it's meant to be sad, also death warning ⚠️)

  Roman paced outside of his fathers room. The doctors told him that when that snake guy fell, his sword cut into the kings neck. Roman heard them talking through the door, let's just say it didn't sound good.

  "Hey! I was in a different town for two days what happened?" Remus walked up to Roman in his normal over the top outfit. "And who's that cute guy a few rooms away?" 

  "There was an attack. I don't know how dad is! I didn't get a good look at that guy though, is he really cute? Wait no, he was part of it." (When you didn't think about what ships you want ahead)

  Remus' face fell. "What? Hold on, I'll go in and ask how he is." Remus walked past Roman, about to push open the door.

  Roman grabbed his brothers arm. "I already tried. They won't let me in." He shook his head somberly.

  "So? You're a prince! We can do whatever we want!" Remus said.

  The door opened when remus was about to go in, a nurse walked out with a sad face. "What is it? Is he okay?" Roman asked, Remus looked at her, hopefully.

  The nurse-nurse Kearia- exhaled quietly. "I'm sorry for your loss. We couldn't save him." 

  "No. No no no. Let me see him." Roman said, quietly. "Let me see him!" Romans voice shook.

  Kearia moved aside, letting the twins through. Remus walked in first, closely followed by Roman. Their dad was laying on a hospital bed, unmoving and pale. Romans heart dropped and he stopped in his place. Remus walked up next to the bed cautiously. The doctors left in the room, walked out.

  Remus grabbed his fathers hand, feeling it already losing heat. "I-" He cut himself off, his voice giving out. A tear dropped from his face, then another. Roman watched the scene in a daze. His father, the only person who was always there for him, was gone. He and his brother lost their mom when they were five, left with only a memory of her singing and a picture in the throne room.

  "This can't be happening." Roman pulled himself out of the daze. He walked to Remus and hugged him, feeling his own tears falling. This was his fault, if he just postponed, none of this would have happened.

  Remus didn't react and kept staring at his father. Carefully the nurse from before walked in. "I'm so sorry, but we need to take him out of the room, he wished to be buried next to his wife."

  Roman nodded and walked out, leading his brother. "We should send a messenger to tell the kingdom." Remus muttered.

  "Yeah. I'm gonna go to my room, if you need me." Roman walked the opposite direction to the east wing of the castle. He neared his room and saw two people next to his door. Logan and Patton.

  "Hey kiddo! How is he?" 

  "Salutations, I too am wondering about the king."

  They got their answers when they saw the tears on Romans face. "Oh no. Do... you wanna talk about it?" Patton asked.

  "No." Roman walked past them and closed his door before they could get in. "I'll see you sometime soon."
