Chapter 16

Emma's POV

We entered the meeting room and sat in our allotted spots I was obviously seated next to my two classmates in chairs which were behind the main table  as we all were interns and rest of the people were seated at the conference table....I was given the job of taking notes of the meeting as I was the personal assistant of Daniel...and I was fully prepared with my eyes and ears open cause I want him to appreciate me for my work and not because I mean something to him...during the meeting I kept getting teasing glances from Daniel...all was going well until I felt a hand creep up my thigh...Josh ...he gave we a wink and smirked at me...I looked up to see Daniel red with anger his fist balled and knuckles turning white with the pressure I smacked his hand and gave him a warning look and told him to look in front of him....Josh's eyes met with a very angry man and stopped his action immediately.

the meeting was finally over when I was hastily approached by my boss "miss Emma come to my office immediately " I just nodded and started following him the moment we entered his office I was slammed on the opaque glass door of his office I yelped audibly as it freaking hurts when a man made up of pure muscle decides to slam you on a hard surface and before I could say anything a possessive , rough and passionate kiss was planted on my lips....he had never kissed me with such roughness before as if this kiss would make me realise who I truly belonged to after about 5 min he let go of my lips and moved to my neck sucking and biting and nibbling hard on my skin....he was surly gonna leave a hickey...suddenly all his movements stopped and he guided his hand dangerously close to my lady parts...."mine...no one touches what is mine" then it hit me....he was doing all this in light of what had happened in the conference room.

The notes I had written were long forgotten he made me clear his schedule for today and told me to wrap up my work and meet him near his car in the parking lot in one hour....I hastily completed my pending work made sure to check his schedule for tomorrow made the necessary calls and started making my way to the parking lot....upon arriving there I saw someone familiar standing near Daniel....is that my sister....yes it was indeed Donna what was she doing here and why was she facing the back of Daniel I was at a distance so I didn't know what was really going on as I made my way closer to them I saw Daniels hand on donnas waste and Donna kissing Daniel...my world shattered and somehow a voice kept repeating the same thing in my head I TOLD YOU SO....I knew he was too good for me...I knew it was too good to happen....why did I expect it to be a cliche romantic novel...I didn't want to look further I turned my heels and ran away from the scene that ruined my day.
