Chapter 18

Emma's POV

Pain all I could feel was pain...why did he have to do this and more importantly why did she do this to me....she was the one who wanted me to get a man....then why did she take him away from me...I had heard Daniel chasing me but I was too weak to face him so I quickly got inside the taxi....I was so happy that today was Friday...I won't see him for two days which might calm me down a little bit so that I dont collapse in front of him...I entered my home and was greeted by my parent's...they knew something was off about me today but decided to give me my space....I went to my room and cried when suddenly I heard my phone blaring...missed calls upon missed calls...massages anything and everything which he could send he did but I ignored them all...when I came down for dinner I heard Donna and her fiancé's voice I nervously gulped and entered the dining hall to be greeted by Everyone I quickly finished my food and took note of the satisfied expression Donna was showing toward me...deciding to ignore I went back to my room.

The next two days were a blur he sent me flowers and chocolates but I didn't accept the gifts...soon it was Monday again and I was dreading this day to come ...I entered the jeffersons building and headed to my office...the moment I entered I was called by my boss...I entered his office and robotically asked him what he wanted " mr Jefferson do you need something " before I could say anything else he pulled me towards him and I don't know what came over me but I slapped him...hard..." don't touch me...I knew this was too good to be true...why did you lead me on...was it fun mocking a girl who truly loved you...was it fun to play with me hmm" I shouted on the top of my lungs and left his office.

I was doing my work when one of my colleagues gave me a cup of coffee ....as I drank it I felt dizzy and drowsy...what was happening I could hear Daniels voice saying something soothingly "shh baby sleep calm down I'm here just sleep" and after that I succumbed to darkness only to wake up in a different room wait I feel light and very cold I looked down at me and realised that I was stark naked....what the hell happened to me as I was deep in my thoughts I heard a familiar manly voice...."good that you woke up baby I was just about to do that myself....what did you give to me "just some sleeping pills Princess don't worry I will never hurt you" just as he said hurt i felt myself tear up the image of him and Donna very clearly embeded in my mind and a tear slipped my eyes.
