Chapter 22

Emma's POV

I woke up in the morning completely sore and wrapped up in Daniels arms....as I stared at my engagement ring all the comments that my relatives my sister and my friends gave to me were going through my mind..."you have to lose weight if you wanna find a guy"..."focus on your studies dear...if you don't have the face and body you have to have some brains"...." focus on your carrier you'll have the money...that'll make up for your looks" so on and so forth....I was engaged to the most handsome, kind, passionate and loving person in this world who loves me for me.

"Good morning baby"...oh kill me now his morning voice is to die for I shyly replied and tried to get up but failed miserably as a certain person was too rough..."can't stand up baby girl"....I just glared at him he then chuckled and picked me up bridal style and took me to the bathroom where we got ready...we got out of the washroom got dressed and then headed towards the kitchen to make breakfast Daniel made strawberry pancakes while we were eating he suddenly said..."baby I wanna meet your family"...I just smiled and we decided that today we will go to my parents and surprise them.

I called up my mother "hiii baby where are you...your colleague told us that you are still working...is everything fine sweety "..."yes mom I'm good i will be coming home today with someone special..." she was quiet for sometime but eventually said ok...I am scared what if they don't like Daniel....what if Daniel doesn't like them and worst of all what if Donna does something again ...I wish her fiancé is there as well maybe she would control herself....I didn't realise that I was lost in my thoughts but was soon broken from it by two large arms wrapping around me.... "don't worry baby they will love me...and I would love them"...I gave him a nervous smile we then decided that tomorrow we will go to his parents house and introduce me and day after tomorrow we will make it official as in you know all the media and all.

The whole day we spent just laying around and cuddling and watching movies....it was 7:30pm and we had gotten ready and were on our way to my house....I hope everything goes well ....please god don't mess this up for me...I wish everything goes well and that everybody is happy about me and Daniel being together....I hope they give us their blessing....the car stopped in front of my house we both stepped out and went in front of the door....here we go....soon my mom opened the door and with the door her mouth also flew open... "Daniel jafferson".... "good evening ma'am I am your daughters fiancé" it was like a bomb exploded we hadn't even entered the house and all the occupants came to the door having similar expressions as my mother... "mom let us in first".

After coming in Daniel explained everything about how we got together and how much he loves me and at the end of his explanation both my parents seemed pleased and happy....Donna kept giving me spiteful glares and Daniel seemed to have noticed it he kept on explaining how miserably he is in love with me and kept looking at doona giving her disgusted looks.... "how did you manage to get him or more importantly why did you fall for a pig like her"...Daniel was angry and visibly so but before he could say something my dad interrupted Donna.... "he is very lucky to have got emma you will not say such things now shut up and eat your food"...my dad gave me a weak smile....overall it was a success they loved him he loved them and they even blessed us....I am so glad....I hope everything goes well at Daniels house.
