2 ~ Bat boy

Carter's POV
I feels his arm around my waist as I awake , he feels nice and warm .
I feel kinda bad about yesterday I know I can be annoying but he just had to bite that guy , it's not that I expect him to not eat I just know he did it out of spite he'll take any chance he can't get to get at anyone , I keep saying people are more than just a endless supply of food but he won't listen.
I look over to see him sleeping his curls are covering his face he looks so cute in the mornings .
I remove his hand from my waist and move closer to him , I move his curls so his face is showing.
I kiss his jawline trying to be sweet for once as I reach his earlobe I can tell he's woken up within seconds I'm on top  of him , he's so freaking fast it almost gave me whiplash. " good morning love "  I continue to kiss his neck and mumble " Good morning"  , his hands go to my thighs  rubbing little circles with his thumbs .
Unfortunately we are interrupted by a loud bang at our door  " dammit why is she does she always come here being cock block " I get off of his lap standing up giving him an annoyed look " she's my best friend Harry be nice also it's creepy that you know it's her " Harry takes the sheets covering his face he is not a fan of the morning sun " I know it's her because her smell is revolting " he huffs and snuggles into the bed even more.

I put on some shorts and head to the door , looking through the hole to see spencer . " hey you " she says while I open the door she kinda comes as she pleases she's very  inconsistent with our friendship but I don't mind that's just how she is it used to bother me because she'd go weeks without talking or seeing me then show up randomly or cancel a trip we would plan but now I have Harry who is very consistent and well he's gonna live forever so he kinda has the time .
" hey what's up " I say kinda sounding distant she knows I hate when she just randomly shows up and goes as she pleases I let people know when I don't like something. " oh don't be all Scorpio on me cat " I sigh " I'm not mad it's fine you don't like to be in one place at a time it'd just be nice to know you're not dead ya know " she makes a frown by my statement " well I'm not dead speaking of where's the bat boy ? "  I was about to respond but get interrupted by a very annoyed Harry yelling " fuck you " from are room " he's in a mood today " I say wishing they'd get along .
" I can tell , so your mom called me and told me you hadn't called her in a week " her words instantly bring anger to me .

Me and my mom have never had the best relationship she and I both have strong personalities and she just can't seem to mind her business or agree with anything I chose to do in my life . Harry has never met  my mom we've only been together a year and a half  and I already know she wouldn't like him , he's older well 28/138 but point is he's older , he's well dangerous and he doesn't have a job .
Harry comes from a rich family his money is all from his parents surprisingly unlike me he had a good relationship with his mom and dad mainly his mom but overall his childhood was good .
" of course she did well I'll call her later , is that the only reason you came by ? " I'm now in a funky mood even the mention of my mother annoys me
" no god I came by because I missed my best friend and also you can't be mad at me because my birthday is tomorrow and we're going clubbing "
I didn't forget her birthday I just expected her to be somewhere else " okay miss Gemini but I'll have to be back by 1 tomorrow " my comment makes spencer roll her eyes " what bat boy put you on a curfew?  "
"shut up slender man " Harry yells I try to hold in my laugh spenc did kinda look like him " HARRY STOP LISTENING TO OUR CONVERSATION " I yell back " no I'm not on a curfew I just have a job unlike others people ." I say
" yeah yeah well we leave at 9:30 I'll pick you up and the annoying thing that is your grandpa boyfriend is not invited " she says while making her way to my front door . Once the door is shut go to our room opening it to find a very annoyed looking hardy staring at me " I don't wanna hear it Harry " I say making my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth .
" fine I won't say anything just come back to bed " I close the bathroom door ignoring him only for it to be swung open by Harry .

His powers annoy the shit out of me .
" Harry I have to call my mother today can you not be annoying for once " I say genuinely , within a second he's up from the bed behind me arms locking around my waist he puts his chin on my shoulder " you know you don't have to call her baby . You're a grown 22 year old woman . " I sigh " if I don't call she'll go even more crazy so I'm just gonna do it " 

My mom has always put work before me she lives from hotel to hotel growing up I spent most of my time with my sister and occasionally seeing my father I would see mom once every few weeks sometimes even months sometimes I think she'd go on vacation and call it a business trip , to be honest I've always felt like my mother kept things from me and I don't really know anything about my mom and dads relationship .
I know they met in high school and dated for a couple of months she got pregnant , they had me but she never told me when they broke up or why they broke up .
When my father died a couple years ago from suicide I expected my mom to try and comfort me but instead she just told me she had a very important meeting the day of his funeral and couldn't make it . I don't know if I wouldn't been able to move past my dads death if it wasn't for Harry , I met him the week of my fathers passing .

Sorry if this was a little boring next chapter I will try to add some more details on how Harry became a vampire and what it was that Harry and Carter did the day they met :)))
