Friends With Benefits

*Roman POV*

We were all a little shaken or annoyed after Remus came but it was whatever. I kept talking to Virgil and we honestly ranted. We spoke about the new video too, which was nice to make. Patton looked around confused for a second and then called out, "Hey guys?" He grabbed our attention. "Where is Logan?" he asked with worry. We all looked around the room for a second and nobody saw him. "The Egg Head is probably doing something in his room, probably working like the boring guy he is," I say to them all. "Roman! Be nice!" Patton reprimanded me. I just rolled my eyes, "Well if you're so worried let's go to his room!" I announced my grand plan. Everyone nodded and we all sink out to Logan's room. We all rise up outside the room. His door was boring with just a sign with his name on it. I was confused about why I could barely see and everyone seemed to mentally agree with that. It was so dark over here which was weird. I opened the door unannounced and everyone was shocked at the sight. Logan was just sitting on his bed with a Rubik's Cube. I thought he'd be working or something but just sitting there? I wasn't expecting that. "Um, hello. Do you all need something?" He asks as he looks at us with confusion. He never stopped solving the cube, he just stared. "We were just checking on you, Kiddo, Why is it so dark over here?" Patton asks. He suddenly looked sort of uncomfortable but you'd only know he was uncomfortable if you have known him well for a long time. "Janus would know" He just plainly states and we all turn to the serpent. He was shocked like he knew exactly what Logan meant. "I knew we couldn't trust him! What are you hiding snake?!" I yell at him. "I am //definitely" hiding something, haven't you noticed what side this //isn't//?" He asked us. And just like that everyone realized what was going on. When we looked at Logan he wasn't looking back, just looking at the cube. "Rubix cubes... truly fascinating are they not?" he spoke in his normal calm tone and everyone just listened, listened to every word.

 "Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, White, all misplaced. someone is to put them in place" He put kept solving it. he fixed the white side first. "White... soft, kind, and yet on the inside.." He pops a piece off "Sad and cold, but ultimately always seemingly white and the easiest to solve." he said as he popped the piece back in. "Next, we have red" He solved the red side. "Clean, pristine, a Royal red, and yet hard to solve, So much involved.. insecurity and yet such an ego" I looked at the floor. He snaps and the orange turns purple "Orange to purple with the snap of a finger, it sees the light and regrets its past" he solves the purple and moves to the yellow that was now solved. "Once given the chance, yellow sees the light when he's let." He turns it to green "Green, left alone, 3 times, but this time he was fully alone, hurt." He turns it to blue. "Blue... the last one, forgotten, ignored, just an extra side." The blue was truly faded and worn out. "But then he goes and finds someone who has similar problems, and he goes over.. to his side" And just like the Rubix cube is finished. He tosses it to us and it slides over to our feet. We all just stare at it, thinking about our mistakes. "I've found my home, please leave." He said with a stone cold tone. "But kiddo-" Patton said but he was cut off by a glare. He just looked away, "Well come on guys... Lo wants us to go" he said with a smile. It was obviously fake and everybody could tell but who can blame our ol' Padre? So we all left and went back to the living room.

*Logan POV*

I took a deep breath after telling them off. "You can come out now," I say giving the signal. Remus comes out from under my bed. He rolls out "You have a nice ass~" He says in a sexual tone. I blush and look away but I just hear him laugh. "I'm only joking Logie!" He says and sits down next to me. I look back at him when my face returns to the normal color. He's smiling at me like he's been made the happiest man on earth just from looking at me. "What?" I ask with a bit of concern. "You stood up for  Yourself! And in such smart way! That was really cool..." He says, ending in a soft tone. I was surprised and I'm sure it showed but what else was I to do? He thinks I'm cool! My friend thinks I'm cool. "Kiss me~" He says seductively yet again. "No" I reply to his stupid 'joke'. He just laughs like a maniac which inside makes me happy. I don't know why but I think he's happy. It was just him being intrusive thoughts. I lay my head on his shoulder and yawn. "Standing up for myself like that is tiring..." I say closing my eyes. I thought I felt warmth come from his face because I'm sure I'm just making him hot. "Am I making you uncomfortable?" I ask worried. "No! It's okay I uh... I don't might you here... close to me..." he said like he blurted it out on accident. I allowed myself to smile and look at him. He looked back at me and his face was very red. I went and I nuzzle my head into the crook of his neck. He didn't seem to mind or think it was weird so I just assume this is a normal friend thing. "Fuck me." he states firmly. Another dirty joke that I just respond to. "No". He does that laugh again but with less movement. "Then kiss me" He requests. I thought about if for a second. I always say no and I'm just he thinks I'm boring. I simply kiss his cheek and get up to get a book. I glance at him after I'm over there and he's stunned and flustered. I just laugh a little and turn back to the books, choosing one and sitting on the bed next to him. Then I open my book and read. He looks at me in shock but I just keep reading. He was internally panicking, possibly a gay panic. "I'm sorry, you kept suggesting it and I thought that was just what friends do, apologies  for making you uncomfortable." I apologize to him. "Well... we aren't really- normal friends- I mean we could be more than that if you wanted!" He said panicking. "Oh, like best friends or friends with benefits." (He has no idea what that really means) Remus blushed madly. "W-Well what kind of benefits?" He asked seeming to get almost excited. "Well if what we do isn't what normal friends do then everything we do that normal friends don't do is a benefit, how does that sound?" I ask him. He seemed confused and tries not to laugh but I just figuratively brush it off. "Sure Lo Lo! Sure.." He says seeming satisfied.

I'm having lots of fun with this, as well as reading some great other books which is fan-flipping-tastic!
