There was a long silence as soon as we sat down at the Boar Hat. My tail swaying as I sat and my hand on my chin.

"Are you going to explain it to me now?!" There was the wrath she always knew. Meliodas had been pretending not to be angry to get me to talk, a tactic I am very accustomed with.

I turned away, "Like I've said before, it was never really any of your business!"

Meliodas slammed his fists on the table, startling the other sins, "It is damn well my business! That ba—"

"Is none of your busi—"

"Will both of you just shut up?!" Ban stood up and yelled.

Diane sighed, "What the hell is going on?"

"It doesn't matter now," I stood up, "I have a war to win and someone to kill. Like I said, it is not your concern." I moved from my seat to the exit but Meliodas grabbed me and slammed me onto the table.

"YOU WILL TELL ME ABOUT OUR CHILD!" Tears fell down his face as he pleaded to me.

King stood up, "So what you didn't want to tell us is that you were with child?"

"Meliodas..." I started.

He got off me, "I don't want to hear it. If you won't tell me about our child, then I want nothing to do with you!" He walked up into his room and slammed the door.

"Why didn't you tell him, Lady Liz?" Elizabeth asked me.

I sighed as I got up off the table, "Because your past life's father killed him because I tried to kill you. I was already in the Vale, morning the loss of the child that I never got to tell Meliodas about because your past life stole him from me. Meli never got to see our son's beautiful little face." I turned away from them.

King spoke, "You mean, you actually gave birth to the child? It was alive?"

I nodded my head, "Meliodas never knew about the child because he was already taken away, the curse was already set."

"So why don't you tell him now?" Ban asked.

"I couldn't bring myself to tell him because it reminds me of what happened. And what happened fills me with rage to the point where I might be consumed by my darkness." I turned back to them, "And I won't be consumed by my darkness again, but for the sake of my love for Meliodas and the relationship ship we are trying to build again, I will tell him."

"You're doing the right thing, Lady Liz."

I smiled, "Thank you, Elizabeth."

The walk upstairs felt like a million years, and I knew Meliodas could here me coming up from the creaks beneath me. I opened our shared room and found him sitting on the bed with his head facing down, "Meliodas?" He didn't reply so I came over to his side of the bed and sat next to him, "Meliodas?"

It was when I turned his face to me that I realized he had fallen asleep sitting up. Meliodas had a cute face, especially when he slept, but at the moment it was sad because of the tear stains that marked him.

I laid him down in the bed and covered him with a blanket, making sure to take off his shoes beforehand, "Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" A grumbly voice spoke.

I turned my head, "You did."

I pulled another blanket up, "Well shouldn't you be leaving then?" Meliodas looked angry but his face was too tired to show the expression.

"I actually came in here to talk to you but you were sleeping, so I tucked you in instead. I know you like to snuggle up when you sleep so I put on the extra blankets." I shook my head.

"Stop avoiding the real question at hand!" Meliodas turned his head away.

"I'm not. You were just sleeping. Do you want me to talk about it now?" I asked calmly. He just huffed and crossed his arms, "I was pregnant during the war, that's why I would stay home with Zeldris instead of fighting against the gods and goddesses along side you."

"Why didn't you tell me? I could have been with you!" Meliodas yelled.

"But you weren't! You were already under that wenches spell! You had been taken from me so I stabbed her, over and over and over the day I found you fucking her in the gardens!" I yelled back.

"Lizzy, I'm—"

"Save it!" I snapped at him, "And so from that day, I left and Zeldris came with me, that's why we are so close. But when the baby finally arrived, he was ripped from my arms three days later and brutally stabbed in front of me by God. All because I killed his beloved daughter who stole and fucked my husband!"

Meliodas looked down, "I'm sorry."

"I don't need your apologies. It happened thousand of years ago and her reincarnation is actually a very sweet girl, who might I add would be a great match for King Arthur." I looked back at Meliodas, "That's the story, that's it."

"What was his name?" Meliodas asked. Tears started to fall from my face as I crumbled down and cried, "Wait! Liz! I didn't mean too!" Meliodas attempted to comfort me.

"His name was Meli... I know it's really stupid, but—" I started.

"But nothing," Meliodas shushed me, "I love it and I wish I was there for him."

I hugged Meliodas, "He looked just like you, with your blonde hair and your emerald eyes. But he was a little devil just like his Mama, little horns and a little tail. His wings would have grown in beautifully." I stood up and held his hand, "So now you understand why I have to do this. Why this war is so important?"

Meliodas stood up, still hand in hand, "I do. And I know just the people to help us win this war."

We both smirked, "The Ten Commandments."
