Chapter 14 - Istar

"Oh.... I guess it's nice to see you." Zaneri the Druid spoke.

I smirked, "Whatever, Zaneri. You know what I'm here for."

She turned away and started towards a building, "Follow me. I have a test for you."

"A test?"

"Mhm, since your powers are sealed, you need to prove you can handle them in the present."

I just growled but reluctantly followed her.

It was pitch black inside the room but she lit a candle and led me to a small chair and a bowl full of sort of liquid, "I want you to take a deep breath and go in. You have three tries. If you fail the last one, your powers will stay sealed for another 1000 years." Zaneri explained.

"Okay I'm ready." I looked at the silvery liquid.

"Alright, take a deep breath."

I took a deep breath and in I went. It felt strange, but I was soon transported to my worst nightmare; when I earned my sin.

We were in the demon realm and I was walking through the gardens when I heard whispering, it was when I turned the corner that I saw Meliodas and the Goddess Elizabeth having sex. My mind blew up and I slit her throat, cursing Meliodas and I for eternity."

"FUCK!" I screamed as I merged from the bowl.

"You failed." Zaneri told me.

I growled, "No shit."

She touched my shoulder, "Look, I may not like you. But I want you to know that I do feel for you and I am sorry you ever had to go through all of this."

"I hate that you druids can see my entire life, but, thank you Zaneri." I smiled.

"Now, try again." She pushed my head in.

Again, I was in the demon realm, but this time I payed more attention to the details around me to calm myself down. I wore a red, silk dress that reached mid calf and I had a small silver crown on my head. I carried a knife in my hand. Then, I started to hear the whispered again but now there was loud moaning and when I turned the corner I saw them again, Meliodas thrusting inside of the Goddess Elizabeth, his eyes clouded white by her spell. I just stood there, sitting in my fury. Then he spoke, "I love you, Elizabeth. I'll love you forever! God you feel amazing!"

"Yes, Meliodas! I love you too! Keep going!" Elizabeth screamed.

I slit her throat.

"GOD FUCKING DAMN IT! It's not even that hard! I just have to walk away!"

"It's because your wrath is getting the best of you. You should have been the Sin of Wrath in my opinion but you killed to many people for that." Zaneri explained.

"Wow, thanks for rubbing it in." I scoffed.

"Hey! I'm just being honest. You have to keep yourself calm and collected. You have to remember that it wasn't Meliodas, it's the spell she put on him."

I looked at her, "Why are you helping me?"

Zaneri looked away, "Because you've been through it all and I think you've had enough."

"You really think—" I started.

"Don't make me say it again!" She pushed my head down, "Deep breath!"
