Chapter 6 - Apology Of Lies

The next day, I showered and went downstairs, smelling something lovely. Meliodas and the other seemed to still be sleeping, so who could it be?

I approach the kitchen/bar area and grab a glass of water. At this moment, I notice Ban cooking what looks to be a delicious breakfast.

"You know, Ban. I am sorry for everything. I really am. I can get caught up in being evil sometimes, so I apologize for my actions towards you. And I know you know, from the memories I showed you, that I have known you since you were a small child. I have known you the longest out of all the sins, besides Merlin and Meliodas. You have been like a little brother to me, almost a son, and I would hate for our relationship to be ruined. And hey, you make amazing food, and I'd like to be included with breakfast." I smile and put my hand out for him to shake.

Ban turns to me and grabs my hand, pulling me into a hug, "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, you big baby!" He playfully hits me.

We hear something from outside, "Awww look how cute!" Diane says from outside, though all we could see was her giant eye through the window.

"Shut up!" Ban chuckles.

Ban finished breakfast and everyone comes down to eat. We eat in silence until someone speaks up, "It seems like you two made up."

I look over and see it is my husband who spoke, "Yes we did, now stop bringing attention to it and eat. And don't chew while you talk!"

Meliodas and the rest laugh, "You always were a stickler for manners."

I sigh and laugh, "Sorry, the royal comes out in me sometimes."

"Royal?" King asks.

I look over at him and chuckle, "Why yes. I'm surprised Meliodas or Merlin hadn't told you already."

Meliodas just smiles and continues to eat. Ban asks, "How are you royalty?"

I cough on my food and try to speak but before I do Meliodas interrupts me, "Are you sure you'd like to know that, Ban? I mean, you already tried to kill her once..."

Ban laughed, "I won't again. It's not like she's the Queen of the Demon Realm or anything!" He continues to laugh. The room goes silent, you could hear a pin drop, "W-What? Was it something I said?"

I continued to get up and walk away when a voice stopped me, "He was right wasn't he?" Diane.

I look at her and shrug my shoulders, "Take a guess, sweetheart." I walk upstairs to my room and close the door. I could hear then yelling and arguing downstairs about how I'm a danger to them and the people here, but Meliodas and Merlin continued to defend my honor.

I grabbed some of my things and put them in a satchel on my back. I walk downstairs and the Seven Deadly Sins looks at me, "I should be leaving now. Seems like I'm not welcome, and besides that, I have somewhere I need to be." I walk to Meliodas and peck his cheek, "You know where I'll be.....Demon King." I whispered under my breath, so only he and I could hear.

He only smiles as I walk out the door, activate my demon mark and run off into the vast world of Brittanica.

By night fall, I able able to create a portal to the Demon Realm.

I drop my blood onto the seal and it glows a deep violet. As it opens I look around me, take a deep breath and jump into the endless pit of darkness.

Upon my arrival, I land on the seal in front of the entrance of the castle. I walk up the many stairs to the grand, double doors that awaited me. I took yet another deep breath and opened those doors, looking ahead of me, my head high.

As I opened the doors, some old friends waited for me inside. I look at them as they turn their sight to me, "Hello again, Your Majesty."
