Hangover

My head is quite a mess right now because surprisingly sincerity is evident through his eyes last night. I am in doubt and is still confused but i dont want to dwell on it. I dont want to waste my days in this island thinking why it feel this way. I have a lot on my plate and my life is already too handful for my sanity so i tried to shrug off unnecessary and complicated issues.

One kiss wont hurt, right? It is just a freaking kiss! It dont need to put meaning behind it. It is no big deal! People play with feelings nowadays so i guess i should just ride and sail with it while i am still here.

Hindi naman kailangan na may ibig sabihin lahat ng kiss. 

Mas pinili ko nalang na kalimutan yung nangyari kagabi. Spur of the moment lang, ganoon.

I woke up very late and decided to just ask for a room service instead of meeting him for breakfast. It is already 12 in the afternoon when my order was delivered so i started eating my brunch in the veranda. I let the sliding door open to relax my mind and also to breathe fresh air.

Ayoko pa munang lumabas ng kwarto. Wala akong sapat na lakas para humarap sa kaniya.

Nakakahiyang pangyayari, Kindle.

I lay down on the couch for a bit to unwind. I can see the beach side from my room so it is quite relaxing to watch the waves.

Kasalanan ko bang makaramdam ng ganito? Hindi ko naman first kiss yung saamin kagabi pero halos nagkakagulo braincells ko. Hindi naman ako nabastos o ano. Willing ko naman na tinanggap ang halik niya.

"Finally! You remember to call me!" my friends annoying voice welcomed me when i answered the call. "Excuse you! You've been MIA for almost a week now!" I laugh at hither's complaints.

"I saw your posts on instagram and no wonder why you still dont want to come home." Hither cant stop whining why i did not invite her to come with me. "I'm jealous!" she continued. 

"Baka 'di na nga ako uuwo diyan, e." biro ko.

"Hoy! Kailangan mong umuwi no! Ruth was asking regarding about the internship."

"Well, i am in a vacation mode right now so i did not really think about it."

"I feel envious with your life right now! Must be good to be independent and free, huh? I want to come too!"

"Gaga! Your life is not that miserable!" 

"I am bored here! Hindi ako makakapagtravel alone kasi hindi ako papayagan."

"You can travel with your family, Hither."

"They're too old to travel. They find travelling so tiring—Anong oras na? Wala ka bang lakad today?" she suddenly asked.

Hindi ko alam. Baka nilayasan na ako ng gagong tour guide ko. Kiss and run ba trip niya?

Ngumiti nalang ako. "I guess its my free time today." 

Naligo na rin ako after the call and just wore boho dress to cover up my white bikini. After applying some sunblock and a little tap of lipstain on my lips ay lumabas na ako ng room. I went to the cottages near the restaurant to check some shops and maybe find some souvenirs. May cottage din na nagsilbing mini bar where you can order beverages and refreshments malapit sa may mga sun lounger. I ordered milkshake bago umupo sa isang bakanteng sunlounger.

''Enjoy lang, Kindle. Dapat masaya lang.'' Bulong ko sa sarili.

I took a picture of the seascape in front of me and then post it on my instagram. I also took a boomerang shot of my drink while raising it with the beach as a background then post it on my story.
