SUNDAY 14TH, 07:02
"(m/n)? baby, wake up."
the (h/c) haired male whimpered in his sleep, raising the blanket over his head. he heard a chuckle, whining when someone pulled his blanket down and poked his cheek a few times.
"(m/n), i thought you said you wanted to go out today."
"give me ten more minutes." (m/n) grumbled, burying his face in his pillow instead.
"you said that an hour ago, (m/n)."
hearing those words, (m/n)'s eyes snapped open. he quickly sat up, vision blurry as he stared at johnny in shock before smacking his arm. "i told you to wake me up no matter what!" he whined, throwing his legs over the edge of the bed and standing up.
johnny followed him as he walked to the connected bathroom. "i did," he said casually, earning a glare from (m/n). "it's still seven in the morning, you know. i just woke you up."
(m/n)'s hand - which was holding his toothbrush - stopped in midair as he stared at johnny from the mirror in disbelief. he grumbled before he began to brush his teeth, earning a laugh from johnny.
it's been a year since they began their relationship, and they were going to celebrating their anniversary. johnny had already planned out the day, even though (m/n) insisted that just going out on a walk was enough for him (as long as he was with johnny).
"i'll make us breakfast." johnny announced, (m/n) humming in response. he left the bathroom and hurried down the stairs to the kitchen, immediately getting to work while waiting for (m/n) to shower and get ready.
it didn't take long for johnny to finish preparing breakfast, which was two plates of (f/f). just as johnny finished setting up the table, (m/n) came down the stairs looking as beautiful as ever.
the tall brown haired male stopped in his tracks as he stared at (m/n), his eyes showing how lovestruck he was. (m/n), on the other hand, could only blush under johnny's gaze before whining softly and hitting the taller's arm; effectively snapping him out of his daze.
"sorry," johnny chuckled. "i'm just so amazed by how beautiful you are."
(m/n) scrunched up his nose as he sat down. "stop being so cheesy." his heart fluttered when johnny kissed the side of his head before sitting in his own chair.
"i can't help it." johnny hummed.
the couple began to eat, talking here and there, but it was mostly just a comfortable silence (which consisted of johnny staring at (m/n) and (m/n) finding out). they enjoyed each other's company greatly, even if they didn't say anything to each other.
soon enough, they finished eating. johnny went back upstairs to get their phones while (m/n) cleaned the dishes (he insisted, since johnny had already cooked for them both). after wiping the last plate dry, (m/n) went over to the front door and slipped his shoes on; just as johnny skipped down the stairs.
the tall brown haired male gave (m/n) his phone before slipping his own shoes on, and just as (m/n) grabbed the door handle, he swept in to peck the shorter's lips. (m/n) blushed but didn't say anything, instead he looked up at johnny with eyes that shone with affection.
(m/n) smiled. "i love you, johnny. happy one year." he finally said after a moment's silence, tiptoeing so he could connect his lips with johnny's.
johnny hummed into the kiss, his hands moving to hold (m/n)'s hips so he wouldn't lose balance.
the couple kissed for a few minutes before finally pulling away, (m/n) blushing furiously (despite it not being their first kiss) and johnny grinning from ear to ear.
the tall male leaned down and placed a light kiss on (m/n)'s forehead, mumbling, "i love you too, (m/n). i hope you'll stay with me forever."
(m/n) grinned, mostly because of johnny's words, but partly because he realized something.
"your lips don't taste like cigarettes anymore." he giggled, poking johnny's cheek as the brown haired male laughed.
"it's been a year since i last smoked, (m/n), and do you know why?" johnny asked, pulling (m/n) closer to him as the smaller hummed.
"why's that?" (m/n) smiled, wrapping his arms around johnny's neck.
johnny grinned, leaning in so their foreheads rested against each other.
"because you came into my life and made it better."
