Navya didi and I were feeling a little bit better from yesterday's events. Whenever Navya didi and I tried to help pack some stuff to take to the hotel, our family would get mad, scold us and had both of us sit our asses on the couch and not do anything, but just rest. But we both have done enough resting; how much more do they want us to rest?

"Babe, I got it. Give me your suitcase." Nathan takes my suitcase from my hand and brings it downstairs, and before I could even step foot on the stairs, I feel someone lift and carry me down the stairs and it was Ayaan bhaiya.

"What are you doing?" I ask him. "I'm helping you," He answers, and we reach at the bottom of the stairs, takes me to the car and places me in the passenger seat. "Can someone bring my sho—" I feel something at my feet, and I look down and see my shoes already on the floor as if they're waiting for me to wear them. I swear, Nathan is too much. Before we leave, I see Liam carrying Navya didi to another car and has her sit in the passenger seat.

"Are we all ready to go?" Papa asks Mom and she answers, "Yes." Everyone else piles in the car and Nathan sits in the driver's seat with me and since the car was already turned on, he drove away from the house and neighborhood.

"Do I have permission to walk from the car to my hotel room when we get there?" I ask. "No," he answers bluntly. "Why?"

"What do you mean 'why'?"

"Nathan, I know that you're worried about me, but thanks to the antidote, I'm completely healed and healthy. I could've taken my suitcase to the car and there was no need for Ayaan to carry me down the stairs. I can take care of myself," I let it out. "Babe, I know you can take care of yourself, but please try to understand. Yesterday, someone attempted to kill you and Navya, and none of us saw it coming. We couldn't protect you and—"

We stop at the red light and I grab his face and kiss him on the lips and eventually separate from him. "Don't blame yourself. This is not your fault. I'm with you now and I'm fine. We're aware now and we'll definitely be on alert next time. But, stop blaming yourself."

"But babe—"

"Stop. Blaming. Yourself. Understood?" I point my finger at him, and he gives a small smile and nods. "Good." I kiss him on the cheek, and he continues driving to the hotel. After twenty minutes, we reach the hotel and my parents speak with the manager and eventually, we all get our rooms. Instead of staying with Nathan, I'm sharing a room with Anya and Dhriti, which I would rather much prefer because an attack can come on her too. Nathan didn't like this arrangement, but I had to explain to him about this and thank god, he understood.

Anya, Dhriti, and I reach our suite and it was big enough for both of us. "This is awesome!" Anya exclaims and she jumps on the bed, and I laugh at her enthusiasm. "You seem to be enjoying this," Dhriti tells her and put her suitcase close to the desk and I put mine next to hers.

"Of course I am. This is the first time where I'm not sharing a room with my parents and they're not watching over me. It's like a breath of fresh air," Anya says with excitement. I hate to break it to her, but her parents are watching over her due to her, me, and Navya didi being in danger.

"Anyway, why don't we put out our outfits and jewelry for the mehendi ceremony tonight? Also, the hair and makeup team will come to our room and get us ready," I tell Anya. "Sounds good to me."

After resting for a little bit and replying to endless text messages from Nathan, the three of us lay out our outfits and we put on our robes and the hair/makeup team came to our room. Anya let them in and they immediately started getting us ready. After an hour, the three of us got our hair and makeup done and we help each other get dressed in our outfits.
