Saturday morning

Milan's pov

I woke up from a text from Vinnie to meet up with him for breakfast.

I practically jumped out of bed and got ready so fast. Never in a million years would i do that.

"Bye Addison!" I blurt out before storming out. Not knowing why i said that since she was dead asleep.

I used my snapchat camera to check my appearance once more before walking into the restaurant to see Vinnie.

"You look good." Vinnie chuckled at my dinosaur pajama pants. Clearly i was in such a rush to get here i only changed my shirt. Great.

"Thank you." I got all shy about my appearance as i sat down across from him.

"Thank you for joining me." He smiled at me softly as he rested his arms on the table.

"Of course."

"I was just um... i wanted to ask you something. Its totally fine if you say no. I will understand. I dont want anything between us to be awkward if you say no." He kept rambling until he realized he was rambling.

"Yes Vin?" I bit my lip nervously.

"Will you go to the dance with me tonight?"

My heart fell through my ass and out of the chair i was sitting in.

"Uh.." i muttered as i looked at him nervously.

"Shit. I made things awkward." He let out a disappointed sigh as he sat there stiff.

"No. No. I would love to go with you, Vin." I started to frown at him.

"But you do-"

"Noah asked me last night and i said yes." I pouted as i saw the sadness in his face as he looked down.

"I didnt want to say no and make him feel bad. If i knew you were gonna ask i wouldve said n-"

"Its okay, Milan." He finally looked up at me.

"Now i feel bad. Especially since i really wanted to go with you." I let out a sigh.

"Hey dont feel bad." He set his hand on top of mine in a comforting manner. "Save me a dance okay?"

"Of course." I smile.

"Also, next dance we have. I call dibs on you as my date." He playfully winked at me.
