Still Saturday Night

Vinnie's pov

Dancing here with Milan just made me forget about why i was upset the whole day.

Even though she wasn't my date, I got what I wanted. Her to dance with me.

After dancing to fast pace music it immediately transitioned to slow songs.

I was so awkward at first. I didn't know if it was okay to touch her waist.

But she reassured me as she led my hands to where they should go.

She confidentially smiled at me while wrapping her delicate arms around my neck.

I wanted nothing more but to kiss her.

But that could never happen.

"Hey M... can we dance?" We both froze turning to look at Noah standing next to us awkwardly.

"Uh.. yeah." I could feel her energy die as she let me go.

She mouth a 'sorry' to me before walking away with Noah.

Leaving me there on the dance floor alone.

This was going to be a long night.

I walked to the tables they had for people who didn't want to dance. Jaden was sitting at one with a bitter Mads sitting next to him. Along with Siena who looked miserable.

"Hey. Can I sit?" I look at the three.

Mads forced a smile. I could tell she wasn't in a good mood right now but didn't want to be a bitch and not smile.

"Yeah sit." Jaden allowed me.

I took a seat on the other side of him and just smiled uncomfortably.

"Where's Milan? Thought she'd be your date." Jaden nudged me.

"I was gonna ask her but Noah beat me to it." I let out a sigh as i glanced at the two dancing.

"So she had two guys wanting to ask her to the dance, yet my boyfriend couldnt even ask me." Mads mugged Jaden before getting out of her seat and marching out the dance.

"Oh give me a break." Jaden followed behind her.

"Wow." I muttered to myself.

"They've been doing that all night." I turn to see Siena laughing at the two.

"Yikes." I laugh with her.

"So where's your date?" I question Siena who seemed lonely.

"Not sure. I tried calling but no answer." I watched her let out a defeated sigh.

It was silent at the table for a few minutes as we watched everyone slow dance.

"You wanna dance?" I stood up and put my hand out.

"Me?"

"No your invisible friend." I playfully roll my eyes.

She froze for a second but finally took my hand and we walked to the dance floor.

I felt her gentle touch on my chest as she awkwardly tried placing her arms where she thought they belonged. I chuckled watching as Siena eyed the other couples to figure out where her hands go.

It was honestly the most genuine thing i witnessed.

"You got this." I smile as i placed my hands on her waist.

She gave me a returning smile as she laughed to herself.

"Whats funny?" I raise a brow in confusion.

"When you mentioned my invisible friend. I thought you actually saw him." She chuckled at my reaction.

"You still have an invisible friend?" I tease playfully.

"Oh my god! No! I grew out of it." She shook her head. "But when you said that I though of him. And for a second i really thought you wanted to dance with Arnold."

"Arnold?"

"Yes. I'm weird." She let out a sigh.

I always thought she was the shy sister. And she is. But she was the type of shy and awkward person that would ramble.

It was honestly cute.

The rest of the night we danced together.

Even when it was over i took her to her dorm. Just to be a gentlemen.

"Thank you." She forced her eyes open to stay awake.

"Of course." I smile.

"Nick never showed up." She stated and i nodded.

"Yeah i know... i'm sorry." I frowned at her statement.

"Dont be. Im glad he didn't." Siena looked me in the eyes before kissing me.

Once she realized what she was doing she immediately pulled back screaming.

"Im so sorry." She panicked.
