Maria pressed some buttons on the control panel and then tried to walk over to the lever to launch down the tube Shadow was in; her left leg was injured because one of the G.U.N. shot her. Just then, four agents came in the room they both were in.
"Put your hands away from the lever, NOW!" one of the G.U.N. agents ordered her. Maria took one last glance at Shadow.
"Don't do it!" another agent said.
"Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog." Maria said. Shadow widened his eyes. She pulled the lever, and at that same moment, one of the agents shot her on her right leg. She fell to the floor, unable to get up with both of her injured legs.
"NO-" Shadow was cut off yelling, as he was dropped out of the ship and into space heading towards Earth. He looked up at ARK, he saw G.U.N. ships fly out of the ship and saw a huge explosion, turning the ARK ship into ashes. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Shadow screamed. "MARIAAA!"

Shadow's POV
"NO!" I yelled as I woke up in a cold sweat. I looked around myself, I was in my room at Team Dark's HQ. That memory of Maria... it... it was just a dream. That image of her falling to the ground, with her both legs injured, just kept replying in my head like a bad movie.
I lost her that day.
Forever.
I got up from my bed and headed downstairs to get a drink of water. After my drink I went and sat at the couch in the living room. Everything in that memory of Maria was so tragic, but there is one line that haunts me the most:
