Rouge finds an old camera which was made a few years before ARK was built. She then gives it to Shadow and they never realized that they would be see years of amazing memories!

Maria: Shadow woke up today, feeling very scared. I guess he had a nightmare.
*look at the bathroom door*
Maria: I'll check on him.
*knocks the door*
Maria: Shadow?
*knocks again*
Maria: Please open the door, I just want to help you. But, I can't do that with the door closed.
*bathroom door opens*
Shadow: *looks at Maria with a sad face*
Maria: *sighs and smiles* Come here. *hugs Shadow*
Shadow: *hugs back*
Maria: Now, tell me what you saw.
Shadow: *takes a deep breath* I saw... you. We were standing on top of a lake, but we weren't drowning. You came up to me and said 'Shadow, I can't stay with you anymore. I must leave'... then you gave me a small paper star and started to walk away.

Shadow: I tried to stop you, but you had already vanished. It started to get pitch black, and I was falling. And once I hit the ground, I woke up.
Maria: Oh Shadow. *hugs Shadow* I would never do that to you.
Shadow: *hugs back* I won't do that to you, either.

Lesson:
A nightmare is something that you can't decide to go away, because it decides itself to be with you. Eventually, it will fade away...
But the main reason there are nightmares in life isn't because they want to haunt you...
it's to show the bitter part of reality and make you stronger.
