He found you in the corner,
Buried beneath your mother's bed,
Thought by your father to be dead.
Your eyes had never seen the light,
Your eyes had never seen the light.

He took you from the corner,
Murdered your parents in their home,
Offered a cloak to keep you warm.
Your eyes could never see the light,
Your eyes could never see the light.

He found you had a talent,
Showed you what you need to know,
Gave you arrows, knives, and bows.
You wandered in the darkest nights,
You wandered in the darkest nights.

He showed you your bad habits,
Said to talk to a pet bird,
Swore to never break his word.
You wandered in the fading nights,
You wandered in the fading nights.

Your name is Corner.
Your skin is colder.
Your eyes are sharper.
Your name is Corner.

You left that corner,
Your home is warmer,
Your pain is duller,
Your name is Corner.

He found you in the corner.
No matter how far you travel now,
You feel that you were never found.
Your eyes will never see the light,
Your eyes will never see the light.
