Over a delicious breakfast of some slop that tasted like eggs and bacon, Sophie's imparter rang. With a mouth full of food, she dug it out of her pocket. It was Mr. Forkle. She answered, her mouth unfortunately still full of food.
"Hello, Miss Foster," Mr. Forkle said, looking amused. "Tasty breakfast?" (A/N: I don't remember if imparters allow you see the person too, but if not, just ignore it.)
Sophie chewed faster. Why was this slop so hard to go down? Finally, she swallowed, gasped for a breath, and said with a blush, "Um, yeah. What's happening?"
Mr. Forkle sighed. "Can I not call you without you assuming I'm doing it because I need to say something or lay a heavy revelation on you?"
Sophie shrugged. "You could, but you don't," she said.
He sighed again. "Unfortunately, I can not prove myself correct at this moment. I don't have an enormous revelation at this time, but I do think Mr. Sencen would like to meet me – the real me. And we need to finally go over some basic precautions to how to use that new ability of yours. And, mostly, we need to discuss that memory you shared with your mother."
Sophie was confused for a moment, but then she clenched her teeth in understanding. "Don't call her that," she gritted out. Councilor Lying-curls was not her mother. She already had a mother. "and don't say that at all! No one else knows I know who... my biological donor is.
Okay, I know this incredibly, horribly short, but I wanted to update at least a little bit. I have to go to bed now because I have Seminary in the morning at 6:30, and I don't want to be a zombie.
