"My brother, 6 years of age at the time, just stopped a car crash. Most people would be amazed, grateful at the very least. Not the commission. They saw an opportunity to create a new hero. Not one, but two seeing as he refused to leave me. Our parentes practically sold us to the committee and let us grow up.

We lost all contact with them, the only thing we did was train. Train until we collapsed, until we were puking. Until our muscles were so sore we couldn't get up on most days.

I decided to become a vigilante at 10. Dabi was a friend of mine at the commission who used his own flames to commit suicide. Or attempt it, he's clearly survived. He was done with everything they taught us there but he was still a close friend, so when I lost him I broke. That was my main reason to become a vigilante. Heroes, they didn't help when we needed them but I didn't want to do bad either. I wanted to protect purely for the sake of people's lives, not for the press.

I made my big splash and rose to the top ten in less than a year. Unfortunately, I got caught when I was twelve. It was a slip up but any mistakes should be avoided. My brother and Eraserhead caught me, except I was left with Shota because my brother had to do hero work.

Oh the group, completely forgot to add that. We were a group of 5, all from the committee that got caught that night. They saw our work and did give us a lifelong sentence at the police station, as detectives. Joker, Ace, Spade and Diamond. I was the Queen of Hearts, chosen by my girlfriend. I changed my name as soon as I got my license a month later to Nightingale," you haphazardly explained, trying your best to summarise 15 years of chaos in a couple sentences.

"Woah that's so cool but so sad," mina laughed.
"That brings me to my next point. I overheard your conversation. It's been two days and I understand your consideration, but no one is going anywhere. Doing hero work is dangerous. Doing it illegally, I'm not allowed to bend the rules for you and I don't want anyone hurt so I forbid any of you from taking action," you decided.
"Sensei that doesn't make-" Kirishima began.
"Any sense? Kiri if an ex-vigilante is telling you it's dangerous you can trust that. I'm telling you not because of the profession, but because of the hypothetical situation. We need the best heroes online for this, the entire precinct we can't risk the top hero school's students getting hurt. Don't do anything reckless, Eraserhead won't hesitate to expel you," you warned.

"Eraser. I'm heading out to the mission. Good luck at the conference. You too Vlad!" You called, putting on your jacket and running to the locations you had pinpointed. The only good thing about meeting Dabi was that you could track his biometric data since you still had that stored. Find Dabi, find Bakugo.
The few minute flight from camp to Camino brought you directly to the rooftop of the base. It seemed Toshinori had the same idea because he burst the door open with the old timer by his side. Along with a couple rookies that could barely control their quirks.

"Bakugo! C'mon we're getting out," you unlocked him and dragged him outside where he threw up black goo like stuff.
"Analysis, give me a check on this substance," you mumbled, taking a piece of the goo.
"Sulfur, human genetics, multiple quirks, bioengineered," you muttered as the realisation hit you like a damn truck wearing a 'you're an idiot' neon sign.
"Fuck! Everyone get out, these are Nomus being transported from inside him. Endeavour, burn them alive! Bakugo? Where's the kid?" You panicked.
"Took him while you were running your analysis doll. Rule number one, never let your guard down," he taunted making you grit your teeth.

"Take care of the citizens. All Might, old timer. It's going to repeat," you snarled.
The three of you flew around searching for the ominous figure, defeating as many villains as you could while doing so.
"Why all might. It's been so long," a familiar voice rasped.
"Don't attack. This is his fight. Only attack if he hurts you," Gran Torino warned.
"I wasn't planning on doing anything anyways," you growled through grit teeth as you watched the fight between rivals. It seemed to go on for hours with you putting up shields to defend yourself from the debris, and the police force behind you taking care of the victims. Until a blast headed your way. What should have happened in mere seconds, felt like years. The beautiful light grazed your shield flying past giving you a moment of relief until you heard a scream of pure pain.

"Sargent!" You gasped at the gruesome sight. Her back was turned, therefore the blast covered every inch of her. She looked like a human crisp. You frantically checked for a pulse only to come with the conclusion: Sargent Emily Akabane was officially dead.
"You bastard! How can you hurt innocent bystanders! Even a villain wouldn't stoop that far. Your battle is with us, so why hurt them? Innocent lives killed. And for what? Your greed?" You were seething. It was rare you were this angry but he hurt an innocent, someone dear to you no less. No one does that and survives.

The three of you battled, fist to fist quirk to quirk until the final blow ended the nightmare.
All Might stood victorious, in his skeletal form while you arrested All for One. The city was completely demolished, crippled heroes and injured citizens littering the streets. Dead bodies under crumbled buildings that were desperately being dug out by friends and family. It was a pitiful sight. "Now it's your turn!" All might, the now retired hero announced to the world. You picked up the Sargent and walked to the main street where you were met with terribly disguised students.

"What did I say about coming on the rescue mission?" Your glare softened as soon as you saw Bakugo. "Thanks for helping out but please. We're sworn in to protect everyone before ourselves which explains the police deaths, but if any of you," you broke off. "I wouldn't forgive myself. I'm glad you're safe."
They all gave you a sad smile of both gratitude and sympathy.
"We're sorry Sensei for worrying you, but I can say one thing. I'm not sorry for what I did. I went to save my best friend and I hope I saved some heroes a bit of time by doing so. I don't regret it," Kirishima stated boldly.
"I know you don't. Just next time, be less reckless. And plan it out more, I'm pretty sure you survived because the class parents were there," you laughed, despite the dire situation.
"Bakugo, you're going to have to come with me. The rest of you, go back. All might will be here in a bit," you explained walking alongside your student to the nearest station.

"Nightingale! It's new seeing you here, you never visit this station," the secretary pointed out.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures. Where's Sansa? He has my file for this precinct," you asked, searching for the ginger cat.
"Not sure, check up," she said getting up, but her face paled the instant she saw the corpse in your hands.
"Alright let's go. You'll be put under house arrest with frequent visits from either myself or- actually just myself," you explained him having to remind yourself again that your girlfriend died because you were careless.

"That's it?" He spoke for the first time in a while.
"Yep. Report anything wrong and stay inside. Seems safest," you stated blankly. "Gimme a sec, I'll drop you off," you said laying the body down in a spare casket and washing your hands. You decided to walk with him since he felt reluctant to any touching and you couldn't drive.

"KATSUKI- oh who are you?" A lady opened the door.
"I'm going to guess you're Mrs. Bakugo. I'm Nightingale, pleasure," you nodded.
"Pleasure's all mine. Thanks for bringing Katsuki home," she smiled.
"No problem. I hope to see you soon Bakugo-San, have a good day Bakugo," you bode farewell before leaving the dysfunctional household.

A/n: longest chappie so far, the Camp arc is officially over. Plus you now know all of your backstory. Or do you? Well, if you made it this far, congratulations! You deserve an award for high cringe tolerance.
