The happiness didn't last for long.

I was with Brielle. At first where I was was fuzzy, but then I realized it was at the party. She was dancing around the bedroom she brought me to; don't ask me why, I still don't understand. I don't think she realized I was there.

I looked around. The bed was still made and the smell of cigarette smoke lingered in the air. Brielle continued prancing around the room, almost as if she was listening to some silent music. I turned and opened the door behind me, leading to the hallway to the party. Everything was silent, and if not silent it was muffled.

I was downstairs, walking through the crowds of people. Most of them looked similar to Brielle, some looked identical. I saw Zach and Ryan off to the side, making out with two random Brielle look-alikes by the bar. At least that part was normal.

I pushed through the crowd and reached the entrance way, going down the steps and pushing the door open. I was at another party. A venue, I think. It looked like backstage of a gig I played a couple weeks before. Brielle was on the couch, her hair tangled and a beer in her hand, jerking her head back as she silently cackled. I remembered that night. She was high as fuck, along with being drunk. It was after the gig, again, and we had sex, again.

I rushed out of the room, entering her living room. The sound of moans came across the room from where a single lone couch lay. I ran out of the room again, entering another place where Brielle and I slept. It kept going on and on into more and more rooms until I was laying in the back seat of a car, Brielle on top of me.

I struggled to get out from under her, but her hands were heavy, like they were made of lead. I tried screaming, but I couldn't make a sound. She lowered herself onto me, her lips interlocking with mine, and before I knew it- -

- -I was awake. My eyes flung open, my heart racing. I saw stars, hearing the sound of cars rush by and the beating of a heart near my ear. I calmed my breathing, realizing it was just a dream. A tortuous, horrible, mental fucking nightmare.

I turned my head, seeing Jay asleep. Her hair was sprawled out against the blanket, some covering her face. I rose my head off her chest, sitting up. 5 and a half beer bottles were sitting on the roof around us, along with half a pack of cigarettes and Jay's vape. I took a cig from the pack, lighting it with difficulty from a shaky hand and taking a deep pull, relieved to feel the roughness go down my throat.

I reached into my pocket and took out my phone; it was 4:28 am. I guess we fell asleep on the roof. It didn't matter to me at all because I liked the roof.

I continued taking deep pulls, slowly trying to calm my nerves and stop my shaking. The cigarette was gone within 5 minutes and I put it out, leaving it in the ash tray. I laid back down, moving closer to Jay and placing my head by her shoulder. She was warm even when she was outside in freezing cold. I was a mix of shaking and shivering by now, curling into as much as a ball as I could and draping the blanket over me, trying to fall back asleep. Hopefully I wouldn't dream about sex with Brielle again. Hell, I didn't even get a boner.
