Chapter 23: The Truth

Annalise's POV

Selena, James, Ace, and I are at the library, studying and making our homework.

I was busy making my homework when something came to my mind, which is, to tell the truth about Ace and I's relationship. How we become from reel to real.

"Ace?"

"What?"

"Can we tell the truth about our relationship like how we become reel to real?"

"Uhum. I think it's a good idea. Let's post individually on the university page,"

"Ok"

"I like our love story though,"

"Me too,"

"What are you two thinking about?" Selena and James asked.

"Oh. We are discussing telling the truth about our relationship,"

"Oh. That's a good idea. You should do that," Selena said.

"Uhum. I agree too. To clear things up and to tell your love story in public. I bet all the students here would like to hear your love story,"

Ace and I opened our cell phone and search for our university page to post there.

Annalise's Post:

Hi. I am Annalise Hart, the girlfriend of Prince Ace Knight. If you are curious as to why we end up being together, I will tell you the truth.

I know Ace is popular, but that's all I know about him. One day, I was shocked because he went to my classroom and dragged me to the rooftop. He asked me if I could be her fake girlfriend. I was shocked because why me? He said that he wanted to escape from her fangirls, and this is the only way to make them stop following or giving him love letters. Ace pleaded, and I think about his offer. After some minutes, I agreed. The following days, we are like a real couple and do what real couples do. As time goes by, I am comfortable being with him. As months went by, I started to have feelings for Ace, and I planned to confess to him during the university festival. Unfortunately, when I confessed to Ace, he rejected my confession. He said that he is not ready for love. The next day, I distanced and avoided Ace, and that's why rumors spread that we have broken up.

After a week or two, Selena trapped me in a storage room, and there's an awkward situation. I was shocked when Ace confessed that he likes me. I said that the feeling is mutual because I still like him even though I wanted to forget my feelings towards Ace. You know that it's hard.

The next day, Ace started to court me, and after a month, I made our relationship from reel to real. I can say that our relationship is real now and not fake. And that's our love story. Just telling you all the truth about us.

Prince Ace's Post:

I wanted to tell the truth about Annalise and me.

The truth is, I pleaded Annalise to be my fake girlfriend to escape from my fangirls. My close friend, James Tyler had that idea, and he said that Annalise is the perfect girl because she is simple and doesn't care about people/s status. When I went to her classroom and when I saw her, she is simple and beautiful. I'm glad that Annalise agreed, and the following days, we are like a perfect couple. We also grew close to each other. I admit that my heart would beat fast when I'm with Annalise, but I just ignore it because I'm not interested in love.

University festival came, and I was shocked when Annalise confessed to me, and I rejected her. A week had passed, and Annalise is avoiding me. I felt sad because I miss those times when I'm with her. Rumors also spread that we broke up.

One day, I got jealous because I saw Annalise talking to a guy. James said that I should realize my feelings towards Annalise because maybe one day I will regret it, and I realized that I do like Annalise, and I'm planning to tell her how I feel, but how? She is avoiding me. The next day, James trapped me in a storage room, and I was shocked because Annalise is also inside. I figured out that Selena and James trapped us, and this is their plan. It is a great plan. I confessed to Annalise that I like her and I'm glad that she still likes me. I thank James and Selena for that.

I courted Annalise, and after a month, we are official. And that is our love story. From reel to real.

"Are you done, Ace?"

"Uhum. You?"

"I'm done typing too,"

"Let's post-it,"

"Ok, in 3, 2, 1,"

"Post"

"Done"

Prince Ace's POV

Annalise and I posted the truth about us on the university page. I think a lot has read it already because it's like gossip that spreads immediately.

"Are you all done with your homework?" Selena asked.

"Yup"

"Shall we go home? I'm tired,"

"Ok. Let's go,"

The four of us went out of the library. When we are walking, I saw students reading something on their phones, and I think it is our post, and they turn their heads to us.

"Their love story is like in dramas and stories that I read,"

"So this is the truth,"

"I can't believe that it started being in a fake relationship. I mean, they look like they are not pretending,"

"They are good together,"

"I love their love story,"

"I'm envious,"

"From reel to real,"

That's what I heard when we are walking down the hallway.

"I think they are talking about your post," Selena said.

"Yup. It's obvious,"

"Look. There are lots of comments in your post already"

"By the way, this weekend, there would be a fireworks display,"

"When and what time?"

"8 pm at the Paradise Beach Resort,"

"Ok. I will invite my girlfriend to watch it," James said.

I looked at Anna.

"Let's go watch it together,"

"Ok"

And the four of us went home.
