Annabeth Chase.
You have to go to Olympus Annie.
Prove to your mummy that you're good enough for her. The child she wants and appreciates.
Because no-one else loves you, not your newfound team, not your father, not anyone because you're an evil sinner, a scumbag worthy of Tarturas.
You have to go to Olympus Annie, prove your worth.
I toss and turn in my sheets, flipping my pillow over to the cold side endlessly. I can't sleep. Everything bothers me, the way I'm positioned, all of it. I desperately want to sleep, to let my body and mind rest, even if for a few hours.
Agitation flows through me and I walk up to the 'family room' as Leo calls it, upstairs. I'm comforted by the leather against my warm skin and pull a fuzzy purple blanket to cover my legs and chest.
My thoughts are overcrowded with everything, starting with the infuriating Percy Jackson.
We need to go to New York City, maybe take Grover with the two of us to Olympus. It would be a long trip and taking a plane was out of the question if we brought Percy along, his dad being the god of the sea, and his uncle not even like him.
He may not want to, but this place would run fine without him, may hit a few snags along the way, but with the other five very powerful demigods on his team, everyone in this building would be safe and fine.
Percy needs to pull his ginormous head out of his ass.
And if my theory is correct, Kronos will hit New York City. That's what I would do, hit Olympus, take it over, destroy the supposed seats of power, and rule the world.
But there has to be more to it. There just has to be. Something else to the cascade of different powers he holds.
And the dreams have been getting worse. He is inhibiting more and more bodies. This time he had thick red hair and bright, green eyes. I thought I was looking at Ginger until they flickered to gold.
And once he's done with the bodies he discards them like trash.
Luke may be next
He had always helped her, for so many years she persevered because of her best friend. She was starting to feel like he was more than her protector. The way he waggled his blonde eyebrows and the way his mouth curved into a thin, funny smile.
But as she drew closer to graduating, she was graduating early, at sixteen, of course, she lived under a different name and forged her identity, Luke began to change. He started to resent his gifts, resent that he was half-blooded and worth more dead than alive. Luke was slowly beginning to turn into a traitor to himself, to what he stood for back in the day. With Thalia gone, he drifted further snf further away. After graduation, he dispersed from time to time, sometimes for extended periods. She found herself struggling to make ends meet at her job and the monster attacks increased by a tenfold.
And she found him working with the one person she was fighting against, the one person plaguing her nightmares.
So she went underground and had to gather her strength to create her persona, her own identity.
She was never going to recover from the heartbreak, the turmoil of good and evil that raged on in her chest every time she even thought of Luke.
She had to push through it, toughen up and forget everything about him, only for him to be thrown back into her memory every day, not a single day went by that she didn't think of him and wanted for things to go back to what they were before.
