"I hate you! Don't you dare talk to me ever again! We're over!" Ty slams down his phone and bawls on his pillow. He had another fight with his asshole of a boyfriend. I told him to break up with him ages ago but he didn't listen. Now he's a mess.

I slowly approach his bed. He might be small but he's scary when he's mad. "It's going to be fine, Ty. Come on, let me see that face." He didn't move for awhile until he finally found it hard to breath and slings his arm around me as substitute to his abandoned pillow. "You were right El! He's a bastard! I-I caught him and Celine sucking faces below the stadium benches!" Oh my poor Ty, he was so in love he failed to see all the flaws of that shameless person. "He-he saw me but didn't even stop! He-he-I hate him!" I tighten my arms around him and let him cry until he finally lost all tears and fell asleep.

If this is how it's going to be when I fall in love then I'd rather not fall in love at all. I'm afraid of getting hurt. What if I can never recover from it?

Ty, Ty was wonderful when he fell in love. He was glowing and full of life. Suddenly, it's as if there was no happiness anymore. I wish I can carry some of his pain.

The next two days Ty refused to go to his classes. He might fail if it carries on so I tried my best to convince him. The bastard's not worth it. Ty deserves better.

I cross the large field at the middle of our university to reach the clubrooms. I know a girl there who can probably help Ty recover from his sadness. It was a chance encounter, meeting her. I ran out of pencil lead during an exam and she was there to save me. Afterwards, we just started talking everytime we cross paths. She once told me she knows a lot of people and would help me hook up with someone which I obviously declined but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try asking for a friend.

"Aki!" She's a tall and slender woman with short bob hair and porcelain skin. It's the golden hour and she's being illuminated perfectly by the rays of the sun. Maybe if I'm not gay I would've fallen for her.

"Elliot! Come, I have so much to tell you." She's enthusiastic as always.

I give her a small hug, a habit I developed after meeting her. I also let her hold my hand and swing it as we walk into the building. "I met this amazing guy. Gosh, I think he's the one!"

"That's great. Is he kind?" He should be kind.

She giggles and I'm delighted by her purity. "He is. You wouldn't believe how much of gentleman he is. He opens the door for me, let me walk first, pulls the chair before I sit and asks permission before touching my hand when he guides me out of the car. He's amazing, I tell you!"

"Where did you meet him?" Knowing Aki, she could've met him anywhere. She's got a large group of friends.

"He's actually my brother's friend. Imagine my surprise when I found out my annoying brother has such a saintly friend." I am too. His brother likes teasing me so I don't really like him.

We stop in front of the Music Clubroom. I'm not sure why we're here but I trust Aki. She's probably meeting some friends. She knocks twice before opening the door and squealing cheerfully. "Hey!"

A tall, built, tanned guy, who seems to be around our age moves away from the cello and greets Aki back enthusiastically. "Akira, hey, I'm glad you made it here."

Aki becomes a little squirmy, shy from the attention. "Of course, I'd come." They let the silence hang for a few seconds. "Oh, by the way, I should introduce my friend. Elliot, meet Peter. Peter, meet Elliot."

He offers his hand which I return happily. "Peter, Peter Adams. Nice to meet you."
