Contracts (One Direction)

Chapter 9

I stirred in my sleep at the smell of fresh food, "rise and shine!" I heard kelly's high pitched voice refusing to open my eyes as I felt her open the curtains of my glass covered room. "5 more minutes.." I groaned from under the covers. "No, we have a flight to catch! come on don't you want to see the boys? and go to LA?" the thought of seeing the boys made my heart flutter, i hopped out of bed and headed for the bathroom, kelly followed checking off a list making sure I had everything I needed. 

An hour later we were running through the gates barely making it onto the plane, "I told you to wake up earlier!" she sighed, I laughed "i know I know i'll buy you a new cardigan i'm so sorry" I apologized looking at the coffee stain "better live up to that!" she challenged "always!" I quickly tweeted out:

VMA's tonight,beyond excited to see the besties from across the pond! xx

Only a few moments later did all 5 send me a notification of not being able to wait to see me too. I shut off my phone as the plane took off. 

The time change really messed me up, though a couple hours later I was somehow on my way to be seated in the arena for the show. My hair was curled and pinned half up half down, I met a bunch of celebrities congratulating me on my new position, I was talking to katy perry and rihanna "Do you like it so far?" katy asked I looked around, "it's my first day, and it's not like I had a choice, I don't wanna do it haha" rihanna laughed "girl, you're gonna be getting the big bucks soon so pay no mind to anything and work for what you deserve" I nodded "thanks" I suddenly felt I pair of warm hands cover my eyes, another pair hold my waist and a 3rd lifting up my feet "this isn't anywhere near your seat silly girl!" I heard an irish accent giggle. The other voices greeted the girls as they excused themselves and I was being carried off to god knows where. 

Upon opening my eyes, I found myself sitting in a seat next to niall with the other four around, "hi" I breathed in. "hi love" he whispered back and kissed my hand "long time no see" I felt a blush creeping up on my cheeks "yeah.." I said pulling away "there are cameras everywhere, can't be doing stuff like that" I smirked. "well I.dont. care" he threw back I laughed "so way to tell me you're the new boss lady, way to tell any of us actually.." I felt a little bad at that moment. "yeah, I just...it happened pretty quickly.." I kind of looked away, the show was starting and he gave my hand one last squeeze "I understand" I closed my eyes, tonight was gonna be the last night he'll be so understand. 

All my worries seem to disappear when the performances started, I was so happy when the boys won their awards, I watched all the embraces and all the pride in their faces. I watched as louis even snuck a little peck on harry's lips in the midst of all the excitement. It truely was a great evening. I was waiting for people to clear out to leave me seat, "hey where ya goin? come to justins house with us for a bit" I looked over at kelly, I had an interview in the morning,I gave her a pleading look, because she knew what was going to happen to. "Be back at the hotel by morning ok?" I nodded my head in agreement. I said my good bye's to liam and danielle as they went out to a restaurant to celebrate and quickly pulled louis and harry to the side to talk. "I saw that kiss you twats!" they both laughed, clearly high off of life and excitement, "but i'm happy for you guys, all of you." Louis quickly spoke up, "now that you're on top can we come out yet?" they both looked so hopeful, I shook my head no, "not as simple as that, I have a lot of things to do, I need to look over the contracts, and see what I can do, but on top of all that i'm rather busy" they sighed " it's ok, at least we know we have a better chance now, yeah?" harry said cheerfully. "yeah I know" I agreed, " I just want it to be over, I can't even be with niall because of i-" I slapped my hands over my mouth and shook my head. shit . I watched as the lovers looked at each other than back at me, "what?" they questioned in unison "I'll explain when it's all over...just please don't let the other find out. especially niall." they reluctantly promised and in a heartbeat I was taken away from them by niall and we were off to justins home. 

Justin swung the door open and we were welcomed in with like 10 other people in the house, we played lots of games and even made ramen noodles, I was tired and threw myself on the couch, it was about 3am. Niall fell down next to me with his head on my shoulder, "i'm tiiiiiiiired" justin started heading up the stairs," i'm going to bed, you guys make yourselves at home, stay safe!" he winked at niall. Niall chuckled as he dragged himself up to get blankets and pillows we made a makeshift fort and lied down. He wrapped his arms around me and I put my head on his chest. "Reminds me of summer" he whispered, "me too" I whispered back "but...I think something's different..." I giggled and looked up at him and stole a kiss. He looked back down, "I agree, things are much different" he said with a kiss between each word. Somewhere along the way of reminiscing and making out I fell asleep, and I don't think I could have been happier. 

I woke up again around 7:30 to the sound of my phone buzzing, I picked up realizing the time and put on a tshirt off the floor and finding my shorts as well "I know I know i'm late" I said in a yell whisper trying not to wake niall, I didn't want him to see me leave because I know I wouldn't be able to if he woke up. And things wouldn't make sense if I suddenly wanted nothing to do with him if I didn't leave. "i'm on my way" I hung up and picked up my duffle bag, my dress from last night was stuffed in it, I gave niall a quick kiss on the cheek, "just wait for me.." I was tying my hair up in my bun when I saw justin coming down the stairs. "where you off too so early?" he asked rubbing his eyes. "I'm late for an interview, can you do me a solid and just..don't tell niall you saw me leave? say you woke up and I was gone." he looked at me skeptically "please?" I repeated. He looked the other way and nodded his head,"thank you" I whispered and was out the door. 

I walked out the gate and saw not as many photographers as I thought I would, I walked out into the street waiting for a taxi "how you doin today? have fun at the vmas?" he asked "uhh yeah it was really good" he continued to walk with me "you didn't go to the after party?" I laughed "no we had one of our own" he laughed too, "who's shirt is that? you lost your own?" I looked down and realized it was nialls, I started laughing and quickly got into my cab. The interview was a small talk show, they asked about what the business world is like and offered me advice, i'm sure it won't take long for me to need it cause i'm a mess. 

When the taping was over and we were on our way back I looked at twitter and saw nialls tweet: 

uhhh seemed to have lost my shirt :/ 

I then saw on the news feed that TMZ had a new video up, it was titled One direction losing their clothes. I clicked on it and one of the guys starts talking about how the vmas were and how we were all there. "So I guess they all went their separate ways to celebrate because the blond one took his girlfriend" a girl interupted, "dude they are not dating" another one came in and asked "how do you know that?" the girl countered "uhh cause she's like practically his boss now, isn't that like illegal or something?" they all laughed "she's like 18 and runs her own company..." then they started playing the clip of the guy asking me questions as I left, after it was over one of the guys said "they diffidently fucked, she's wearing his shirt!" someone asked "how do we know that?" "uhhh seemed to have lost my shirt" someone read off a computer screen. the segment ended with the narrator telling the "blond one" to hold on to his clothes. I shook my head. I need to start planning on how everything is going to end. Cause it needs to end. soon.
