Everyone has their duty. It is what they must do for both survival and for the sake of their world. The Black and Gray Kingdoms will soon unite through the marriage of the prince and princess. For the greater health of our mother. She controls all as she should, for she rules all within the Crystal Kingdom. Her castle in the sky is our symbol of peace.
"Is this your first time going to the Gray Kingdom, miss?" Queeny looked outside the carriage, her snowy white eyes gazing. Her dark lace dress hid beneath her black jacket, but you could see the dress if you looked closely. Her black hair shined from the sunlight as she looked at the nature that surrounded her kingdom, the kingdom of black. "Yes, I've only met Prince Evander once. I'm hoping that him and I will become close, so the marriage will be easier for us both."
The prince had quite an interest for his army, Queeny could tell by his stance and the conversations they had prior. Their conversations consisted mostly of him rambling on and on about how much he wants to be a soldier and restore the Monochrome Lands. However, his interests didn't bother Queeny all too much, she knew that if someone liked something then they should continue to like it for their own happiness. Her own happiness was never something she stopped to think about. Her job was to serve Mother Crystal in making the world a peaceful place, and to restore the Monochrome Lands. Which will be done by marrying the Black and Gray kingdoms. Then, they will be assisted by the White Kingdom.
Julia was not able to marry into the Black or Gray kingdoms, she chose to rule on her own behalf, which is to be expected by a high ranked kingdom under brown in the hierarchy. During the meetings, Julia is always the one to have concluded the conversations, she was not to be interrupted or fooled with. She agreed to have Queeny marry Evander for the greater good, in fact, Julia is the one who suggested it.
At last, Queeny had arrived at the Gray Kingdom. She was helped out of the carriage by her accompaniment from the Gray Kingdom. Stood at the gate was Evander, he had a white button up with gray baggy-ish pants that were tucked into his brown boots.
Draped over his shoulders was a gray jacket with a dim blue lining all around it, it complimented his gray beret which looked like it had bow on it. This all went well with his gray and blue ombré hair.
Next to him was his father, he was a jolly looking man, his hair and beard were grayish white and he had on a gray kind of suit that looked fit for soldier training. He had on similar boots to Evander but more brown in color, and draped over him was a cool gray cape. There they stood, prince and the king of the Gray Kingdom.
Queeny approached and bowed to them as a greeting. "Hello, sir. I hope you and Prince Evander find yourselves well." Queeny greeted with a soft tone. "Please, no need to be so formal with us, you'll soon be my daughter in law. You may address me as father, my dear." The king said cheerfully. "Ah..alright, father.." Queeny glanced over at Evander and quickly looked down at her hands.
The king gave Evander a look as if he had spoken to him prior, then shifted in mood and said, "I'll have you children get to know each a bit more. I'll be off in my chambers if you need me! (It's not like you will need me anyway...) Farewell for now!" And with that the king was off. Evander looked back at the direction his father had gone with a shocked and nervous expression. He slowly looked back down at Queeny and said, "So..shall I give you a tour?"
