"A tour? Sure, I'd like a tour of your estate!" Queeny smiled softly. Evander smiled back at her gently and took her hand. He stopped for second, so soft.. Queeny looked up at him in question, and he quickly snapped out of his daze. "T-This way then!" He stuttered and led her about the castle, telling her about each room and how to find it.
They walked about the castle for nearly 30 minutes without questioning why he hesitated, until finally reaching Evander's favorite spot. "Here, I love being here! The army's training grounds! I come here everyday to train with the soldiers. Come, let me introduce you to the army general. General Ciel!" Evander ran up to the general with much energy and greeted him.
"Welcome back, Prince Evander. Is this the lady of the Black Kingdom?" The general had brown curly hair, and soft dark eyes. He had on a gray tailcoat with gold and silver lining. He had a silver colored belt that held up his black pants which were tucked neatly inside tan colored boots. He had a cape with a hood that wrapped around his neck and shoulders.
He looked down at the small girl who was standing beside the prince. He gave her a gentle smile, very welcoming. Although, his greeting smile was interrupted by Prince Evander. "Indeed it is, General Ciel, I'd like to introduce you to Princess Queeny. Queeny, this is General Ciel!" Queeny looked at Evander and up at Ciel, her neck must have been quite tired from looking up at tall people. With a bit a silence passing by, Queeny finally said softly, "Hello, sir. It's nice to meet you!" Queeny smiled a bit and Ciel gave her a sweet smile. "Nice to meet you as well, Queeny!"
Evander ended up joining the other soldiers in their combat training, leaving Queeny with the general.
For quite a bit of time, there was no sound aside from the shuffling of clothing and feet, the grunting of the soldiers blocking and throwing punches.
Finally, Ciel spoke, "So..what do you think about the arranged marriage, m'lady?" Queeny flinched a bit by his unexpected timing. She thought about his question and looked up at him. "If Mother Crystal says it's for a good cause then I will very much obey." Ciel glanced down at her, his smile faded. "I asked what you think. Not what Mother Crystal says. Do you not have an opinion on it?" Queeny looked a bit puzzled. She had never been asked about her personal opinion about the orders from Mother Crystal. Which made it quite difficult to answer in all honesty.
"Hmm..I'm not so sure, sir. Prince Evander is quite nice and I can tell he wants the best for his kingdom and for the rest of the Hue Nation. We both know that the marriage was set without our say, and that we can't defy it even if we wanted to. Which is why I plan to spend time with him. And if our bond grows then our unity will be stronger." Ciel took a moment to take in what she had just said.
To him, the point she was getting at was that her opinion didn't matter due to the fact that neither her nor the prince chose this path. This led him to believe that Queeny hadn't a clue of how to think for herself. Ciel started to feel a bit saddened by it really. He replied with a nod and soft smile. From then on it was silent for many hours until it was time for Queeny to leave.
Back at the Black Kingdom, Queeny went straight for her chambers.
She removed her black heeled shoes and plopped herself on her bed. Letting out a deep sigh, she rolled onto her side, thinking.
Did I say something wrong? Why did he become so silent?.. Well, my priority at the moment is Prince Evander. I am required to visit the Gray Kingdom daily. This will give me more than enough time to spend time with the prince. Starting tomorrow, I will spend as much time as I can with Evander! Queeny shot up out of her bed and headed for her washroom. She cleaned herself up and dried off.
Slipping on her black lace nightgown(which was a bit see through but no one is here), she spotted herself in the mirror. Looking at herself, her clear, flawless tan skin equipped with a monotone expression and raven black hair that reached only her shoulders. She stroked her dark hair gently before brushing it properly. Queeny thought she wasn't cheerful enough. She thought that her not being as expressive might be a reason as to why General Ciel went silent.
General Ciel isn't the one I'm engaged to..I'm engaged to Prince Evander, Ciel's feelings are not my priority. I only need to know Evander and that's all.
That's all..
