There it was. The beauty of the Gray Kingdom's garden. Full of light and color,    pampered to the fullest.

The garden seems to have been deep within the castle. You'd have to travel quite far from the front gate to get here.

Around the perimeter of the garden were rose bushes, they seemed to form a giant flower in which that was the shape of the garden. At each entrance to the garden were arch hedges. The ground was paved with brick that followed the flower shape of the garden. Within the heart of it all was a small tree that seemed to be growing. Although, it was still quite young.

Evander stood right in the center of the garden, right in front of the little tree. His back to Queeny. He seemed to have been collecting his thoughts and figuring out what to say. "I'm sorry.."

Queeny looked up at Evander, his back still turned. She was confused as to why he was apologizing. There was nothing to say sorry for. So why say sorry? "You don't need to apologize, there's nothing to say sorry for, Evander." Queeny said with a genuine tone, giving him a soft smile.

Evander listened and aggressively turned around. "There's everything to say sorry for! I..I've been busy doing what I wanted to do and..I just haven't thought about you at all..and..!" He stopped. He was about to mention Rosaline but didn't want to take a risk of a scandal. So he quickly came up with another excuse. "And..that's all.."

Queeny's smile disappeared as they both looked at each other. She didn't understand. She let him do what made him happy, but he didn't seem very happy.

           He was upset.

"Let us..spend the rest of today.. together. Alright?" Queeny looked down, then looked up again and nodded. "Let's!"

Ciel was with the soldiers in the dining room. He was stood to the side as they all ate their food.

          Thinking.

Thinking about what was to happen to Queeny, to Evander, to Rosaline..to him. There was no doubt, he felt something.

           Something for Queeny.

But he had to suppress his feelings for her, for it would cause quite the scandal. And if Evander were to choose Rosaline..

           oh dear..

What a scandal that would be.

What could they possibly be doing? He just took her and ran off..! The nerve..but.. they're engaged. Agh! I shouldn't be thinking about this! My only duty is to lead my army. That's it.

Rosaline quickly finished her supper and stood up, walking away. "Where are you going? You've barely eaten anything today." Rosaline ignored the other soldiers and continued off to her room, well..the room where all the soldiers beds are. She couldn't help but think about Prince Evander.

He was right, she's fallen for him, even if it were a joke. But there's nothing she can do to be with him. It wouldn't be right, and he's been engaged to the princess of black. But what if he also-

There was a knock on the door. Rosaline was startled, she was lost in thought. She ran up to the door and opened it.

"Mind if we have a little chat?"
