The thought of my precious little girl take over my business was a great thought, but I'd never want her to do such things if the job gets dirty. She did catch me off guard today with Mr Lebedev, and he is one of the toughest people to get a contract with.

Scribbling down a few notes of Jamie and how she reacted towards certain situations. The fact that she didn't stand back to Mr Lebedev changed everything I've ever thought of her. Is it possible that my little Peanut can handle this job better than a man?

Shaking the thought from my head as I rose for my office chair and pick up the notes I made of Jamie. Making my way out of the office and up to the third floor. The forbidden floor. I would never be able to forgive myself if Jamie would see this. I told myself, opening the door of the third floor. The music starting to play before it vanished behind the closing door. This whole floor was soundproof. It was dark and only the stage full of strippers was given light. Rich men throwing their dollars at the girls on stage.

I made my way to the private room where an old man was watching the girl on the pole intently. He resembled an older version of me in every way. "Shane! My son, you're back soon!" He stated as he motioned for the girl to leave the room, she did without thinking twice. "Father, I have fantastic news for you" I stated proudly. Sitting down in a chair close to my father as I leaned back into it. "Spill my son, let's not waste time," my father said seriously. For an old man, he looked very good, shaved neatly and his hair combed perfectly.

"It's Jamie father" I started. "What's wrong with her? Is she sick or something?" The little panic in my father's voice made it clear he cared deeply for her even if he barely saw her. "No father. She very healthy, but she's done something amazing" I stated as my father rose from his seat. Straightening his suit out. "Come one, let go to my office," he said and motioned for me to follow. I did and the walk was short. The third floor was split into three sections, the club, his room and his office. His office had a view over the pool where Jamie and her friends were at this moment. I stood with my father at the window watching them.

"Alvaro told me the Russian complimented you for having a disciplined daughter," my father said as he watched Jamie dive into the pool. "Yes, her ability to speak Russian and be the exact opposite of her mother, left quite an impression on him" I stated and felt proud of my daughter. "Alvaro also mentioned that Mr Lebedev said she should take over?" This was also something my own father doesn't want for Jamie, but the thought of having her run the business was so great that even he would consider it.

My father placed his hands in his pockets, a smile crossing his lips watching how Jamie played chase with the little boy her friends brought along. When she caught him, she blows his tummy to make him laugh and even if we couldn't hear him, I heard her giggles in the back of my mind when my father did that to her. "Yes, Mr Lebedev did say so. I just think Jamie wouldn't be able to do it. She couldn't handle Alvaro shooting someone, what makes us think she can handle the business?" I asked my father, knowing he wanted to know the same as I did.

"Test her," He said before meeting my eyes. "We test her, speed, strength, education, skills. We test it all" he listed and walk over to his desk. Sitting down on the hook. "And what if she doesn't want to get tested?" I asked, watching as Lorenzo dive into the pool. Then caught how he and Jamie stared at each other for a moment when she played with the little boy on the steps of the pool. "Let her see it as an opportunity for her to become even better than she already is. To let her be the woman who can stand and defend herself against any man, with her mouth and ability to take down someone" my father said.

I nodded and kept my eyes on Jamie who kept looking at Lorenzo the whole time. Her friends playing volleyball with Alvaro and Lorenzo while she kept the little guy busy. "Shane," my father said, pulling my attention to him "Lorenzo, he told me something very interesting about Jamie yesterday" this made me feel taken back a bit. "It's about school" then I got mad. "Is she getting expelled again?" I asked, anger filling me up. "No son. Not even close!" My father said laughing slightly. The smile on his face calmed me a bit. "In fact, Lorenzo says she's very intimidating for the other kids" his voice full of pride over Jamie.

"How so?" Walking over to my father's whiskey cabinet and pour us some of it. Handing him the one glass as I got close to him. "On the first day, she threatened one of Lorenzo's friends, then she called out the most popular girl. And when everyone knew her name by the nerd she called over, the girl nearly shattered in fear of Jamie. My granddaughter is ruling the school!" He stated loudly, I've never seen an old man been more proud of his family. "Who would have thought? Did you know there was this gossip blog about all the schools?" My father asked me expecting me to know everything. "No father, it must've been created by one of the students," I said and slip my free hand into my pocket.

"Well, I found the blog, and believe it or not, your daughter is the latest news for Rosewood high. I also checked last semesters gossip, there was a video of her beating up a guy who picked on her friend, the shy one... Lilly? Of I'm not mistaken. The guy was sent to hospital" it was crazy how my old man went on about this gossip blog. "Jamie has told me that she was suspended from her old school for beating the boy" pausing for a moment, trying to resist the temptation of seeing the video myself. "Can I see the video?" I finally asked. My father pulled up his laptop and clicked on a few things before opening the video and turn it to me. Its crazy that the old man knew more of technology than me.

I pulled the screen closer as I watched the video playoff.

"Did you just call Lilly a whore?!" Jamie asked loudly for the blond boy who was up in her face, she was pissed and hell could be seen in her eyes. "Do you have a problem with that James? I'm sure Daddy was pleased when he left you. Who names a girl James?" He laughed as he shoved Jamie away from him.

"You're just as pathetic as your friends!" He shouted at her, she was right up in his face again. "I dare you to say that again puss!" Her voice was clearly mad as hell and her fist curled into a ball. "Didn't you hear me pathetic whore?" And that's where Jamie stroke him from under his chin. Making him fall backwards.

It took him a few seconds to get back up on his feet. He took a fighting stance, throwing a punch at Jamie. She ducked without much effort, returning a punch right in his mouth. Then she strikes again, her fist hitting the side of his jaw.

She repeated the over on both sides of the boy's jaw before a red-haired girl grabbed her and pinned Jamie against her. "Jamie that's enough! The principal is coming!" She shouted, her face could barely be seen as she held Jamie then the twins stepped in front of the camera. "You! Give that here!" They yelled and then the video went blank.

My eyes went wide after they shut down then locked with my father's eyes. "So she was protecting her friend, herself and me from leaving her?" The thought of having to leave Jamie that time made guilt fill me. "Shane, don't blame yourself. Rebecca was never a good wife for you or a good mother to Jamie anyways. But she stood up for what was hers and that's the moral of the story" my father said. The way he made it sound made me feel worse. I could've been there for her instead of her mother just leaving her to do what pleases her. But I guess my father is right about one thing, she did stand up for what belonged to her.

With a sigh, I pushed my father's laptop back to him and drown the glass of whiskey. "Well at least we know who she takes after when it comes to being great with kids," I said and nod at my father. He laughed and that made me smile. "Yes, I could see that" then silence filled the room for a minute.

"I wonder. Do you think Jamie is the right person for taking over?" My father asked, this made me think and wonder if she is.
"Do you think she is ready for the true father?" I asked, this made my old man think, but never giving an answer.
