I watched the sunset over the horizon, the orange - blue and white mixture making the sunset even more beautiful. My guitar in my hands as I strummed the strings softly, picking some of the notes. Then I head down with my guitar in hand to the living room. Sitting down as I picked the cords of 'Happier' from Ed Sheeran.
The words of the song leaving my lips softly and on the note. The tenderness in my voice made the song special somehow.
"Now that's what I call beautiful," a voice said from behind me and by the kiss on my neck, I could tell who it was. "Yes, Lorenzo. Some of us do specialise in a talent" I teased before turning my head to meet with his brown eyes. A small smile on his lips was all I needed to smile brightly. He leaned on the couch from behind, his eyes not leaving mine once. Moving his hand into my hair before pulling me closer to his lips. The kiss was passionate and delicate as if he was going to break me if he kissed too hard.
Lifting my one hand to his hair and tug softly at them. By the clearing of someone's throat, we pulled away from each other instantly. A blush covering my face as I met eyes with Belinda who rose her brow at me, a knowing smirk pasted on her lips. "Who know singing and a guitar would get so intimate?" She teased. "Not funny, Redhead," I said, her smirk only grew wider at her nickname. I only called her
'Red head' because she and I both knew she was winning."I'll let you be with your friends. I have work to do anyway" Lorenzo said before leaving the living room. He went up and when he was out of earshot I knew what Belinda saw happened was not the last of being heard. Maximus came running into the room and jump on the couch next to me. His bright smile lighting up the whole room. "Hey, there's my Prince!" I started putting my guitar aside and picked him onto my lap.
"Princesa! Are you going to sing for us tonight?" He asked placing his hands in the back of my neck. "I can my Prince. Your request is my command" a smile send to him just as Alvaro caught my attention in the hook of my eye. Turning my gaze fully to him and chew on my lower lip. His piercing blue eyes making holes right through me. "Will you be joining us, Alvaro?" I asked, trying to be kind to him for once. It bugged me that I still hear him saying in the back of my mind 'You're going to pay for being close to my brother'.
"I can't see why I can't" he stated, no expression being able to read on his face. "I'm going to go tell my sisters!" Max exclaimed before jumping off my lamp and ran out of the living room. Belinda leaned against the wall before looking at me again. "Great," I said before looking at Belinda, grabbing my guitar once more. Picking random notes. "Something on your mind Belinda?" I asked as she made her way over to a seat and plunk herself down. "Yes. But big guy over there is in the room" she stated, this is why she was my favourite of the girls, though I never tell it to them, she always spoke her mind no matter who you are or where you came from.
Looking at Alvaro with a soft smile. "Would you mind giving us some space Alvaro?" I asked kindly once more. He looked irritated by having to leave but did so without me having to struggle with him. When he was also out of earshot I turned back to Belinda. "Speak to me Goose" I stated and kept playing my guitar softly. She let out a heavy sigh and the change in her behaviour was odd for me. Not that it was bad behaviour, it's just Belinda's behaviour never turned from mellow to sad.
"I'm pregnant," she said, which made me stop playing the guitar and rather set it aside. "How so Belinda?" I asked. She looked away from me as a tear slipped down her cheek followed by a sob. I don't know why she was sad about it, but also I could see why she would be sad. Her parents were strict as hell! They even scare me sometimes. Getting up from the couch before pulling her up and hug her in a sisterly embrace. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. The girls and I will be here no matter what, okay?" I said as her arms wrapped around me and she sobbed again.
