I laid in bed wandering about the many things that I had taken for granted as a kid till the age I was now but still couldn't find the missing piece that lead to me and Rosalyn breaking.

I admit these past weeks of not seeing her or being able to even hold made me rethink those doubts of what I was feeling.

My thoughts seems to be more open to the option or falling in love with her but she didn't deserve a second time of hell with someone who couldn't even figure out his feelings the first time.

"Argh I wish this was just a dream" I sighed as I faced the side of bed.

Rosalyn had been released from the hospital two hours ago as Jayden messaged me the details because in reality there was no way I could face her again.

The thought of my words towards her and feelings was not fair at all.

The scar was clear as day on her leg but it didn't stick to the original story but came back ten times worse.

Jayden was a good friend and the advice he gave always just made sense but I didn't want anything to go up against my pride hence the reason I was in bed and not with her.

My phone started ringing and I looked to see Jaydens contact pop up.

"Hello?" I answered as I picked up the call.

"Hey dude can we meet up real quick at the bench?" Jayden asked but his voice seemed lowered and sounded like he was whispering to avoid being heard.

"Sure man be there soon" I replied getting the hint that maybe this was a serious conversation.

The bench was pretty much hidden in a reserved park near my house which was surrounded by trees. Jayden had found the spot and soon we were always there with food and also just to chill there. Jayden was barely at home to the point where I use to question if his parents even know that he was there.

I grabbed a hoodie slipping it along with some socks to wear with my vans before walking towards the exit.

"Eomma be back soon" I shouted before walking out.

The walk was pretty easy to make since it was legit around the corner so I got there in no time and could see Jayden on the bench looking a lot more tired.

"Hey Jay" I said walking up towards him and when I met his gaze, you could see the tiredness rubbing off on Jim's

"Wow what the hell happened to you?" I asked clearly shocked since I saw the dude yesterday and he was happy vibes.

"I just came back from Rosalyns home and I stayed up the night with her talking" he replied before trying to rub the sleep in his eyes.

"Did something happen?" I asked.

"The driver was ordered to hit her" Jayden said causing me to freeze on the spot.

"What? Why are you saying this?" I asked confused at these sudden accusations.

"Avery paid one of the skater guys to hit her because she wanted her friend back" Jayden replied before rubbing his forehead.
"What? How do you know this?" I asked.

"You got to trust me and I saw Avery talking too him when the ambulance took her in" Jay said before clenching his knuckles.

"Well did you tell the police?" I asked plotting my story to tell the cops about what took place.

"Guess who the grandson of the local judge is?" Jayden asked with a disappointed scoff.

"You can't go making serious accusations like this Jay, it could ruin a persons whole life" I replied.
