"Doesn't it look wonderful?" she asked stroking the paintbrush in almost a majestic way but in reality a kid with a crayon.

"I think it looks effortless?" I questioned as she turned to grin at me.

"I know right it's lik-" sensing my smiling from her back she turned to face me with her hands placed on her hips.

"Are you mocking me?" she was trying her hardest not to break but I knew any moment she would fall into a fit of laughter.

"No I think you are making art galleries run for their money" I replied putting up the most serious face I could.

"You are just jealous with your three little pigs canvas" she was smirking as I gasped at her comment.

My painting was meant to be three trees that were situated in front of us. I tried my best to show off the different colours and shading.

"That's not the three little pigs" she was still painting away on her canvas before she quickly swiped some yellow paint of my middle tree now turning it into a line of nothing.

"You little brat" she giggled grabbing her canvas before running back into the small shed behind my house.

Taking off with a fresh can of blue paint I walked slowly avoiding the pebble path to find the troublemaker.

She was nowhere out side of the shed but I could hear movement inside.

"Rosie where are you?" I sung in a creepy lullaby as I opened the door to find nothing but boxes stacked up.

Walking towards the middle I accidentally hit a box knocking it off and landing on my head causing me to kneel down forcefully.

Rubbing my head feeling the bump I caressed it softly trying to feel where it was hurting most just to see the content of the box.

It was my old football jersey followed with some old trophies of mine.

But the one thing that stuck out was a bracelet that was embroidered with my initials.

"Look at this darling!" she was excited with her baking skills that it made me grow with anticipation as well.

The cake seemed to be chocolate with some coloured frosting on top.

Getting closer I finally read what it said.

'Happy One Year Anniversary'.

"Baby we have been together for five years already.

Not saying that I don't appreciate it but at least remember" she giggled making her way to me before giving me a long needed kiss.

"We have been married for one year love" she looked up at me as I was mesmerised by her beauty.

It was so unfair that God made me wait this long just to confirm that he indeed was real because only he could of sent me somebody this real.

"You want to count that?" I asked placing my bag down on the couch.

"You forgot?" her voice was sad and I wanted too take my words right back.

"No love I could never" pulling out a bag from my case.

She ran out of the hallway before returning with a picture frame that was neatly wrapped.

"Who first?" she asked beaming in delight as I pushed my gist towards her first.

Like a child on Christmas she unwrapped the present fast before holding it up with a smile.

"You did not" she was jumping up in glee as she ran into my arms peppering my face with kisses.

A snow globe with a small magnifying glass in the middle which held around 100 photos of us.

The globe had a mixture of backgrounds showing the places we had been.

Rosalyn had been talking non stop about this gift and how she wanted to get one for the both of us but I knew that she would appreciate it more.

I was more of a physical copy kind of guy and she liked them in unique places.

"Thank you so much, I love it and I will never lose this ever again.

You don't understand how happy I am"

She was crying with tears as I wiped them keeping her calm.

"You're welcome baby" she finally relaxed before pulling out her gift.

"I need to video this because you will love it" she pulled out her phone before setting it down on the table next too us.

"Okay" taking the frame I sat down with her kneeling down across me.

I tore off the paper before I saw the back of the canvas and turned it around slowly.

My breath hitched as I heard the sob leave my mouth.

The canvas was of our wedding day but my parents were both there.

My father was standing behind me and my mother smiling and I recognised the old photo.

Tears of happiness was all I could do.

Holding my head to the frame Rosie snuck next too me before pulling the frame away.

"You always ask me if I thought he was there that day" looking down once more I felt my heart breaking as I always missed him more every day.

"Baby he never left you or will he ever" she hugged me as I cried into her chest.

"I know you don't like talking about your dad but love he deserves to be loved out loud and not thought about through tears" I was holding onto her like I was letting everything out.

Closing my eyes I felt the heavenly aura that Rosie always bought.

She was thoughtful. Kind. Courageous and willing.

There was one thing that I grew to love was her sense of need.

She knew when she was needed and she knew what to give to someone in need.

It's like my personal angel that never ever left me to fight alone.

If anything I would've been somewhere else being a bum if it weren't for her.

"Thank you so much baby" I sniffled into her chest as she pecked my head.

"I got you" she replied as I leaned into her love.
