Birthday Surprise - Jungkook (BTS) x Reader - Oneshot

Author's POV

Your birthday is approaching and your boyfriend is on tour with the rest of the BTS members. You knew that he won't be able to make it on time. That's the sad part but he promised to make it up to you once he is back in Seoul.

It is night time and you cannot put yourself to sleep as you are too nervous for tomorrow's meeting. Yes, you work in a corporate world. You've put a lot of effort in your presentation and made sure to practice on how you are going to deliver it. In the end, you fall asleep around 2 AM. And you need to be as early as 7 AM the next day.

The following day – Friday, end of the week. Today is your presentation day. You are able to deliver it properly and nicely. You've got a thumbs up from your manager and everyone is smiling across the room. Little did you know, everybody is hiding a surprise from you.

"Those are all great questions and suggestions. I'll look into it and send a follow-up email regarding this presentation. Thank you." You bowed your head to show respect and appreciation to the attendees of the meeting.

"Y/N," your manager called your attention while sitting. It's strange to you that nobody is moving an inch. Usually, once the meeting is done, they will all rush outside. Besides your manager, there are your teammates sitting on the long table. Smiles are painted on their faces.

"I think you forgot something," your manager added.

"I'm sorry Mr. Han," you apologized.

"No worries. Anyway, I sent it to your email just this morning. If you don't mind, I can plug in my laptop so that everybody can see it." He offered.

"Sure," You handed him the HDMI cable.

You are so sure that you didn't miss anything. You double checked your emails through your phone and there's really no email from him. You wonder what is it?

"Ms. Y/N, attention on the screen please," one of your colleagues called you.

"Oops, sorry," You mumbled.

There appeared on the big screen is your boyfriend – Jeon Jungkook of BTS. You could not hide your happiness. It's not your birthday yet but it feels like it's going to be your birthday for the entire week. Your colleagues and your manager know that you are dating the 'Jeon Jungkook' and you are so glad that they are able to keep it a secret.

"Hey babe," he started while there you are standing near the big screen – blushing. Your colleagues teased you. "I'm here in London right now preparing for the concert and I wish that you are here with me." He stopped for a moment and giggled. There popped another familiar face, Kim Taehyung, earning a few giggles in the room. "Hey Y/N! Happy happy birthday! Our maknae misses you so much. He cries every night and wants to go home so badly!" He teased before running out of the video.

"Y/N babe," he continued as he blushed evidently. "Thank you for being the best girlfriend. Or should I say, the best partner of my life?" He showed off his famous bunny smile this time. "I love you always and forever. Wait for me to come home and we'll celebrate your birthday together. Got it?" With that, he ended the video with a wink.

You can't help but blush on his words. You are hiding your face through your palms while your colleagues are cheering and teasing. You're really not into this kind of surprises. But him, sending a message like that, is one of the bestest gifts you've ever received.

Few days has passed...

Author's POV

Today is your birthday and your boyfriend is still not home. Yes, you are both living in the apartment he recently bought. You've cooked carbonara as a simple treat for yourself and took one of the banana milks available in the fridge. You knew that he will be mad if he find one missing. But who cares? He's not here, you smirked.

"Hey that's mine," Claimed the man with raspy voice as he gave you a back hug. The scent, the hug, the presence. You knew who it is. Your boyfriend. Without hesitation, you turned to him and hugged his waist, burying your face on his chest.

"I missed you," he confessed.

"I missed you too," You said the same thing while looking into his doe eyes.

"Happy birthday love." With that, he kissed your lips. Sending shivers down to your spine. He took the banana milk while kissing you and placed it on the counter. Your back is now touching the fridge that adds more shivers to what you are feeling right now.

He grasped onto your thighs signaling you to jump on him. So you did. Your hands are now on his neck and the kiss didn't stop there yet. Your lips is moving in sync with him. You both are fighting for dominance in the kiss, but knowing Jungkook – he wins.

"I always win babe," he said in a husky voice releasing his self from the kiss.

"But not in an argument," You winked.

He laughed spellbindingly, "My queen." He gave another peck on your lips. "Ready for the bigger surprise?"

You just tilted your head. Clouded by the thoughts when he said bigger surprise.
