Harper leaned on the doorway as she watched the two boys she held dear to her find any leads on Arthur Light.

" I'm just checking for heat signatures. After Dr. Light absorbed all that energy, he's gotta be radiation hot. " Gar explained as he drew up blueprints to the city.

Harper was impressed by the boy. Along with his adorable looks, his caring and soft personality, the boy was exceptionally smart. She admired him, a lot. From when she first met him in the roller rink with Rachel and Kory. She was proud at how far he had come.

" What's that?" Jason's voice said as Harper came back out of her reverie.

" Emergency exits on the Bayline Train Station. Underground, so impossible to read."

" Train tunnels must have underground heat sensors, in case of a fire." Jason spoke. Harper smiled slightly, the boy could be smart if he wanted too.

" Good idea. I'm just going to piggyback on the Bayline system."
Gar trailed as he typed swiftly into the computer.

A few seconds later the heat signatures appeared on screen. Harper smiled, impressed at their teamwork.

Gar chuckled as his face split into a grin, Jason's face almost identical to his." You're amazing Jason. I think we got him. I'm going to tell Dick and Harper."

" There's no need."

The two boys froze at the brunette's voice. She pushed herself off the wall, a spot the boys failed to notice.

" How long have you been standing there?" Jason said as his expression mirrored a deer caught in headlights.

" Long enough." She told them.

" You can't tell Dick." Jason pleaded  with them.

" Why?" They questioned.

" Let's take a quick look, just us. Because if we're wrong we'll look like assholes." Jason tried to convince them.

" Yeah, no" Gar declined as he turned on his heels.

Harper shot the teen a look. She may have agreed with Jason but not for the same reasons. While Jason may want to prove himself to the adults, Harper felt as if Dick had enough on his shoulders already. She sat the first fight out, she wasn't going to miss out on this. Plus if the boys were really going to go out and find Dr. Light, she wasn't going to let them do it alone.

" A quick look. Please. Harper is coming along as well." He assured the boy, his face dropped as he looked at the girl. " You are coming right?"

" Got to make sure you idiots don't get yourselves killed. " she reassured

Jason sighed in relief before he sent a pleading look to Gar.

" Fine, a quick look." He slumped in defeat before the trio left.
