The team were patrolling the city. The night was cold, the misty and ominous air licked her skin as Harper and Dick stood perched ontop of a building eyeing the van that was tailing a family car.
" You see that too right?" Harper muttered to Dick. His dark eyes followed the suspicious movements of the vehicles. Hank and Dawn weren't too far away as well as Donna and Garth. They had broken into pairs so they could cover more ground. Each person working with the partner they were most coordinated with. Where Hank and Dawn made a team as well as Dick and Harper, Dawn and Harper had other plans for Garth and Donna. They believed if they paired them together Donna would realise her feeling for Garth as Garth already confessed that he liked Donna to Harper.
They were all close. Each knowing one another's strengths and weaknesses, they were agile and communicative on the field. Always looking out for one another. Many said they were the next Justice League, others said they were just kids in spandex.
Dick nudged the girl beside him as they saw the van come to a halt in front of the unsuspecting car. They jumped from the roof when they saw men exist the vehicle and rush towards the family.
Dick immediately ripped the man away from the car while Harper threw her dagger towards the men who held the father who was squirming in his captive's grasps.
Harper rushed to the man and helped him into the car. " Listen, just stay in the car. We've got this." Harper commanded before her and Dick went back to fighting the men.
" We?" The boy questioned, his voice was dripping with nerves as he looked between the two heroes.
" Hey, losers!" Hawk said as Dove walked beside him.
" That's the we." Harper chuckled as Garth and Donna caught one of the men trying to escape.
Dawn and Harper stood side by side as they had their fingers crossed behind their backs when they saw Garth compliment Donna.
" Nice teamwork." The dirty blonde said throwing her his charming smile.
