Harper stared at the ceiling, she didn't even bother to turn her head when Deathstroke approached her. Her gaze remained on the battered roof, unwavering as she heard him place down his katana and what seemed to be a bowl of water.

All this time Harper was keen for them to give up Rose but as she sat in the presence of a murderer she realised her mistake. Rose was just an innocent kid, much like Jericho and the others. Harper prayed Dick would stick to his word and not hand Rose over, no matter the consequences she would have to endure.

" You really are a pathetic piece of shit. You know that. Rose deserves a better father than you, so did Jericho." She smirked. If she couldn't fight her way out she'll do the next best thing.

Talking.

" You don't get to talk about my son." Slade snapped. Harper smiled when she knew she had struck a nerve. Her eyes flickered to his before meeting the roof once more.

" I'm glad Rose ran away. Smart girl. I would do the same if I had a sociopath as a father." She said, continuing to taunt the man. If Oliver had seen her now he sure would've told her to shut up. Harper tried to avoid the sharpening of the blade that in less than a second could end her life. " You know damn well they will never give her up."

" Well then, you're the price they pay." Harper glared at him as he grabbed his blade.

" You're a coward. You're a sorry excuse of a man and you didn't deserve those kids. I don't care who the hell you think you are Slade. Everything you've taken from me, from my family. You're nothing but a monster." She spat, her eyes burning into his mask." I'm not scared of you."

" You should be terrified. But instead you're being played by your little boyfriend who has you wrapped around his finger of lies. Then there's the matter of your brother. I have him in the palm of my hands. You should be scared. You should be trembling at my feet little Phoenix."

Harper grew rigid as she kept a calculating eye on his every movement, one wrong move and it would be game over. She wouldn't get to go back to her family, her friends. She wouldn't get to see her brother or her mentors in Star City. She wouldn't get to love Dick.

So, Harper swallowed her pride and allowed the man to continue whatever plan he had formulating. She just hoped Dick would be smarter than him and save her before it was too late.

The remaining heroes stood around the island in the kitchen to discuss their plan. Gar leaned on the counter while Jason and Rachel sat on the couch. They needed all hands on deck and the teenagers were finally glad they were apart of the team.

" Hank was right." Dick spoke as everyone turned their attention to him. " You were all right. Harper needs us, now more than ever. We can't just stand here and do nothing. Deathstroke wants to make a trade, we'll make a trade."

" We can't hand over Rose, Harper wouldn't want that."Hank said regretting his previous decisions.

" No, we can't. We won't. But I have an idea. Gar, you Jason and Rachel will stay here with Rose. Protect the tower. I'll contact Deathstroke. Confirm our meetup at the Plaza. And then we take him down, once and for all. Together."
