I woke up breathing heavily.

With my hand on my chest, I get out of bed and drag my feet to the bathroom, I cringe as the bright light harshly hits my eyes. I immediately turn on the hot water tap, I ignore the scaling temperature as I splash some water on my face, why is it so cold in here?

I grab one of the pristine white towels and wipe my face, I sigh as my eyes meet my reflection, with a shaky hand I pull at my curly hair miserably. I quickly change into my bikini then exit the bathroom, I have a few more tests to run anyway, and since I'm already awake, I might as well get to it.

Throwing a shirt over my swimwear I lazily leave the bedroom. I continue to drag my feet through the well decorated living space of my hotel room, standing upright on the small coffee table is Prototype X, a perfectly designed robot which only works when it feels like.

I pick up my tool belt and tablet as I grab my bipolar robot. "Let's go babe."

As I make my way down to the indoor pool, I make sure to handle a few security measures so that I won't be disturbed while Pro X and I battle it out in the pool. I whistle an unfamiliar tune as I exit the elevator, the receptionist at the front desk smiles up at me as I pass by her.

I nod my head at her as I continue to the indoor pool, I sigh once again as the door closes behind me. I kick off my sandals as I walk towards the poolside, "please work."

I occupy a nearby poolside chair as I boot up my tablet, I run a few diagnostics before continuing my trial run, this better work this time, I am seriously not in the mood for another failure. Feeling a bit dejected I walk over to the end of the pool with Pro X then place it on the surface of the water.

Working the software on my tablet, I watch as Pro X sinks to the floor of the pool.

"Let's do this baby, it's been a long time coming," I pull up the live feed from the camera on Pro X, "motions look good, stable movement on the ground despite the surrounding environment, speed's good. Let's see if babe can make it to the end."

I splash my feet in the pool playfully, still whistling that unfamiliar tune as I monitor Pro X's conditions. My head suddenly flashes up in the direction of the doors as I hear them slam shut.

Didn't I lock those?

"Ah," the intruder looks around as he scratches the back of his head nervously. I take in his appearance, standing at about five feet and probably ten or eleven inches, he continues looking around the room.

I ignore his awkwardness as I continue to monitor Pro X through the live feed, "e-excuse me. Oh, that's Korean, my English isn't even that good."

I raise my eyebrows as he continues to talk to himself, with a sigh I turn to face him, "is there a problem?"

He looks at me with surprise all over his face, "you speak Korean?"

I shrug, "just a little. The pool's closed for the night."

He nods his head and looks around, "I'm sorry, I was just walking around and saw the lights on, so I came in," it becomes quiet for a while, "do you work here?" I shake my head, "um, is it okay if I stay here for a while?"

I shrug my shoulders once more, "you're free to do whatever you want."

I ignore him as he walks over to one of the poolside chairs, he sighs heavily as he sits down, then with another sigh he stretches out his long legs as he lays down. A little after he closes his eyes, I take the opportunity to give his lean body a detailed once over; his dark hair falls over his forehead in a somewhat side sweep that touches the top of his neatly waxed eyebrows, I turn away from him with the conclusion that he's pretty handsome.
