{  A Rare Discovery  }

Maya thought this would never happen to her again... Unfortunately, it did. She was once again an outcast.

Three days go by and each one became worse than the last.

First, a few important items go missing which makes people start pointing and call each other a thief. The next day Margret's expensive clothes were torn to shreds and her other belongings got burned in fire, causing her to go nuts and blame her fiance for everything, thus ending their relationship. And lastly on another day the food got eaten by wild animals because someone broke down the barrier that was built to protect the supplies.

During these past three days, Maya has been spending more time away from the beach and visits her native friends. She learns about their way of life on the island, such as the females do arts and crafts, as well as gather firewood and build shelter, but the males are the warriors and hunters, they're responsible for bringing in food and protect the village.

Maya asked the chief about why girls can't be warriors too and why the boys can't participate in fun art activities. The chief tells her that it would upset the balance of tradition and it was for the best that girls and boys stay in their place.

However, Maya noticed Prince Moon loves arts and crafts, he was also pretty good at it. Unfortunately, his father kept telling him to stop fooling around and takes away pictures the prince had drawn, which made the furry toddler very sad.

Maya felt bad for the little prince. So she dug into her backpack, grabs a pepsi bottle-cap from a empty glass soda bottle, paints it black, then glues on a small silver metal ring that once belonged on a bike onto the bottle-cap. After it dried, Maya pulls out a black ribbon string, ties it to the bottle-cap and made it into a necklace.

She gives it to Prince Moon as a gift. He was in awe and happy about what Maya made for him. She tells him to never give up his love of art and that if he wishes to be an artist instead of a warrior then he should go for it.

The little prince hugs Maya as his way of thanking her.

On day two, when Maya didn't visit the furry natives, she chats with the animals in the jungle and befriends them by sharing her own food with them. She even sings to them. But she doesn't know that she's being watched again by the two male naga scouts. This time though, their general was with them.

When he heard Maya sing, he was impressed. "So— This is the 'song bird' you heard singing?" The Naga General asked.

"Yes, General Thoteth. She's the one." The Brown Naga Scout replied.

"I see." said General Thoteth, even more curious. "Our queen will be pleased to have a lovely new pet to entertain her."
