Dance Part 4

Tris's pov
Me and Four are storming off when I hear a whispering sound behind me. I turn around and see Al on the floor. This time he is not moving. And his eyes are lifeless. "No." I whisper. I rush toward him and Four trails behind me. I'm on my hands and knees, next to him. I shake him and feel that he is not breathing. "No! No! No no no! Please no." I cry. I take his hand in mine and squeeze it hoping he will wake up. Then I notice the remaining glass I poison in his hand. It is empty, and his mouth has little burns from the poison. Next to him on the floor were the words "I'm Sorry Tris" in poison. I burst into tears. He's dead, and it's all because of me. "It's my fault." I whisper. Four picks me up and holds me close. "It's not your fault. He made his choice." Four whispers to me. "I love you." He adds. "Love you too." I whisper. He carries me bridal style into the gym again. They are announcing the King and Queen if the night. Who could it be.

Katniss's pov
"I wonder who the candidates are..." I tell Gale. "Me too." He replies. I walk over to the board and see the names.

"Who entered us?" I ask Gale. "I dunno, who told you to sign up?" HW asks. "Prim... Darn she entered us." I reply, realization flooding over me. "Prim!!!!" I yell. "Hehehe." She giggles.

Maddison's pov
"Maddison, you look ravishing!" Squid exclaims. "Uhh... Is that a compliment?" I ask dumbfounded. "I'm pretty sure... I took a vocabulary lesson so I could please you but well, I don't remember much." He says while blushing. "I love you anyways!" I exclaim. And peck him on the lips.

Ruby's pov
"Ash!!! Where are you?!" I ask playfully. "Come and find me!!!" He yells back. I look behind the food table. Not there. I look around the whole gym until I feel a light tap on my shoulder. It's him. I laugh, and he hands me flowers. We hold hands and skip off to where everyone's gathering to find out who is the king and queen. "You will always be my queen!" He whispers. I giggle. Saying yes to him wad the best choice I ever made in my life.

Sqaishey's pov
Me, Madge, Amy, Netty, Mousie, Salem, and Rosie gather around the votes. We are the student council. Which is surprisingly made up if girls. Madge and I are the presidents. Amy is Vice President. Netty is the secretary. Rosie is speaker of the house. Salem and Rosie are the assembly. We look through the votes and I'm sad to see me and Stampy, did not win. "Always next year!" Netty tells me. Such a positive thinker. We collect all the data and head on stage. Madge takes the mike. "Hello everyone!" She says sweetly. "It is now time to announce the king and queen if the night!" Rosie chimes in. "It had been a very close call, but we do have a winner!" I exclaim. "Thanks to all who participated!" Netty calls out, obviously joyful. "We'd Like to thank the voters for helping make the decision!" Salem continues. "The lucky couple is....."
