"It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the students of Freeway Middle school, and their fantastic presentation that they have prepared for you!" The principal announced with a prideful smile. The students all filed onto the stage, grinning from ear to ear. They wore light blue and white graduation robes, and they all looked stunning. The graceful silence was interrupted when one of the students, Laura screamed out "WE WILL! WE WILL ROCK YOUU!" Soon enough every single students was stomping and clapping along as they blared the lyrics to the well known song. "GOT MUD ON YOUR FACE! A BIG DISGRACEEE!" The students chorused, pumping their fists into the air rapidly. The principal looked baffled, practically terrified at the students excitable nature. "Settle down now... Now a speech from are student, Gem Mellark." A student with long brown hair stood up and walked toward the podium. Everyone quieted down, low whispers were the only sound remaining. "Well hello Everyone!" Gem greeted with a smile. "Freeway middle school...hmm it's been quite the school year here." Gem pointed out. "Let's just say we had some near death experiences." She admits. From the risers Tris and Four stifle a laugh, while Peter looks down at his feet embarrassed. A few parents in the audience look startled. "We've had some love triangles...Drama everywhere!" Gem adds. Amy, Maddie, and Squid all shake their heads and stifle out a few chuckles. Peeta, Gale, Katniss, and Prim visibly sigh and smile to themselves. "We've also had some friendship fallouts...and some friendship get back to togethers." Gem adds. Laura and Emily lock eyes and grin. "Through field trips and dances...we've had our fun." Gem declares. "Students have moved on...students have joined" she says looking off into the distance. The memory of Melanie Candy, Elphaba, and many others passes through the crowds. Avi beams, knowing she was one of these newbies. "We've had some breakups too...a whole awful lot..." Gem presents with a smirk. Sqaishey, Stampy, and Dash all exchange glances. Gem looks off into the distance, remembering Lee. "We've made friends that will last us a lifetime." She goes on. Dallon, Dash, Maddie, Emily, Laura, and Avi all pump their fists in the air happily. Percy puts his arm around Annabeth, and Piper, Jason, Leo, Calypso, Nico, Frank, Reyna, and Hazel smile at each other. "I think these years have been amazing parts of our lives." Gem continues. "I love you all...even the jerks in our school have played a part in my happiness...you all have made this year wonderful." Gem announces. "Cheers to a fabulous cool year!!!"she yells out. "AND TO AN EVN BETTER YEAR NEXT YEAR!!" Maddie calls out. "AND THOUSANDS MORE TO GO!!" Laura and Emily screech. Jerome and Mitch laugh hysterically and high five. "We too cool for school!" Ian and Anthony add, before the students go completely nuts. "RAVEEE!!" Everyone yells out, and soon enough Panic! At the disco is blasting. All the students are jumping up and down, laughing, and dancing. They say high school is your greatest memory, maybe middle school is just as good. Correction, maybe only Freeway Middle School is that good. But maybe it's just the people, and the bonds they've formed. Whatever the case, everyone started the summer with excited smiles on their faces. Yah, things got tough once in a while, but in the end things are looking pretty good. Who knows if next year will be this fun. No one knows for sure. Whatever the case, everyone was glad they attended that school. Or else they wouldn't of met so many amazing people. They wouldn't be the people they are today.
