The Mac party

Amy's pov
I texted the people who weren't there when we discussed the party, cuz I definitely wanted to invite my other besties. Gem, Maddie, Sqaishey, and Melanie hadn't received their invite yet, and they were just about to. I quickly texted them and they all said they could come. I called the gang to let them know. I couldn't wait to have fun!!

"It's Party timeeeee!!!" Squid announces to the whole Mac, and our guests. Maddie and Gem were taking photos like crazy, while Lee and Squid made fun of their girlfriends. I sighed. I was the only single one. I had a small crush on both Lee and Squid. But, Lee had Gem and Squid had Maddie. It made me sooo mad, to see one of the couples so happy together. Why couldn't I be happy too? I shake it off and decide to have a good time. I headed over to Rosie, Salem, Mousie, Netty, and Zoe. They were all gossiping about the latest news. "Hey girls!" I chime. "Hey Amyyyy!!" They chorus. "Couldn't help but notice your glances at Lee and Squid!!" Mousie says with a smirk. "You jelly of Gem and Maddie?" Salem asks me curiously. I blush, and the girls giggle. "Really!! I knew it!!!" Rosie exclaimed happily. I slunk down in my seat. They soon break away into another conversation. My thoughts slip back to Lee and Squid. I turn my head, and Lee and Gem are making out I the corner. Squid and Maddie are cuddling on the couch. I turn away quickly holding back tears. This is a party. Stay happy.

Maddie's pov
I noticed Amy looking at Squid today, constantly. What is up with her? Amy, is a good friend, but if she tried anything I would not be a happy camper. I shrug it off, when I hear Stampy call the group together. "TRUTH OR DARE TIME!" He declared excitedly. I grin and take my seat next to squid. Stampy looks all around the group and his eyes rest on Amy. "Amy. Truth or dare?" He says calmly. "Uhhh...truth?" Amy answers uncertainly. "First kiss? And first boyfriend?" He asks smirking. "First kiss....is...Squid. First...boyfriend...is... Lee." She stumbles. "Do you still like them?" Stampy asks. "Yes. I do." She whispers and with that she is running up the stairs. She wants my man...or Gem's. Squid and Lee both make eye contact and stare at each other awkwardly. "I'm going to set the record straight to that girl!" I growl. Gem stops me. "I'll go talk to her. It's fine" she says. She heads up the stairs and I hear the conversation perfectly.

"Hey, Amy." Gem says sweetly
"I'm sorry. I know you hate me. Please don't hate me." Amy cries

I know I hate her, I think bitterly to myself.

" I don't hate you at all. Amy, it's ok." Gem comforts.
"No. It's not." She whines
"It's ok. Shhh, don't cry." Gem whispers kindly.
"I just love them. But, they don't love me. I'm so insignificant to them." Amy wails.
"You will find someone Amy. Maybe one of them belongs with you. Maybe you will meet someone else. But don't worry Amy, you will find him." Gem says reassuringly.
"Lee. I'm sorry. I shouldn't do this to you. We are supposed to be friends. Friends don't do that." She whispers.
"We all make mistakes. And it's not your fault. Love is uncontrollable." Gem whispers.
They make ammends and Gem comes down with a smile on her face. I don't know how she stayed so calm and kind. She said it went well, and that she would be coming down soon. I calm down and head with Gem into the living room. But, I had a bad feeling that Amy might be competition for squid.
