"Compromising happened, Sara" He was standing in front of me showing the pictures he'd taken from a while, placed over the center table. "Now, if both so-called suspect and patient had an agreement, why do you think the patient agreed into it?"
"What do I know?" I confusingly raised my brows.
"Why do you think both criminals know they can't trust each other but still able to negotiate with each other?"
"Uh, why?" I frantically got mecurial just as after he explained how he managed to act like a cop and so the reason why I can't answer him logically right now.
He sighed and put the papers on its previous place.
"I know you're tired, we both are, but we have to laboriously check onto this."
"Fine" I reluctantly responded. "What is it again?"
I forced myself thinking of consecutive questions he threw in me earlier as he raised his brows, probably refusing to answer.
"I'm done, I don't really know."
"The only truth they told you is the relationship of the patient and mother. His wife had postpartum due to personal problems, so he agreed with the terms and conditions"
"How would you know that? It was obviously none of your business. And one thing, couldn't that be an instrument? Wanting us to look at it as ulterior."
"I looked into it. For minutes that they used credit card in paying their hospital bill. And it could be, we'll be careful."
"Uh it has no use, all explanations, too sinuous. What about leaping into the conclusion, shall we?" I faked my smile not letting go of my merely forbearance.
"Alright. Why do you think they bothered to put a poison in the bullet? And shot his leg?"
I just casually told him not to ask me! Out of boredom, I'll mesmerize myself for the best of both worlds.
"He could have a condition. Specifically well, congenital anhidrosis, a rare condition in which the patient won't feel any pain. Is that it?"
"Vastly Spectacular, Doctor!" He exclaimed, intentionally with british accent.
I only shook my head. "Have you found a logic in that?" He asked me but suddenly had an inkling as I wore my irritated face. He hummed slowly nodding his head. "He agreed with the mastermind to support his wife. And had his leg shotted right after you passed your resignation form"
It sounded interesting so I suddenly got mercurial again. "It makes sense. But how would they know that there will be no imminent process?"
He shrugged his shoulder. "See? I told you, that's why this needed much of our attention and time, and uh effort"
"I'm telling you Sara, all will never be easy when premeditating is out of the focus. They were impulsive, it wasn't still easy though. The difference is we'd been through mystery when they're just having their misery. But for now, let's get back into it."
"Cerda guy purposely got your back for a reason. I mean, yes, you probably had already the innuendo but just to make it explicit, I'll concisely tell you all."He continued.
"He seemed nice." He glared at me. "Well, that's on my point of view, I wasn't kidding, but yeah fine, with discretion"
"The snitch had an immunity deal. What do you think about it?" I don't know what he was talking about but I guess it was the one who called'em, the cops.
"So?"
"So who do you think could that be?"
"I thought you want to concisely tell me all you know, explicitly. Exploit what you know to enlighten me then."
"I don't want to point out fingers, but I think you might have want to share who you think it is? Utilizing our notions" I ignored him for him to answer his question.
"An ally or particularly your savior. They wanted an immunity deal from those gullible whatnot. They could be the-"
"Person of interest. Despite immunity deal, they decided to negotiate just to be the last straw in my patient's case. Authorities will comb every single corner not laying hands on the snitch until they found a blemish that could be use against the J. Doe themselves." I told him out of realizations.
"Why would they do that? Why would they add another case in this? They're making it all complicated!" I shouted.
"They don't know what's going on our mind and so is what we knew about them. So they decided to have a trap that will serve as nuisance, we won't fall for it don't worry."
"What really a misery. I want to swim, it's my stressor by the way. Wanna join?"I didn't wait for his answer though.
It's late night, my fave.time when swimming so I directly headed out in my room to wear my red silk robe and a one black backless piece in it. They were almost all into tanned skin and I'm not, that's why they rather be there upstairs in between sunrise.
When I was prepared and saw Michael, I could vicariously feel and massage him just through my eyes, he was just shirtless and his usual shorts when swimming.
"Uh wait here, I'll buy snacks downstairs."I told him.
I don't know normally if what I'm wearing is humiliating but I got used to it.Another one thing, all of them don't seem to bother though and so do I.
My unit was on third floor and building had precisely twenty-third floor before the roof top where the pool was placed. Not that I'm complaining about on how long it was, I honestly could play inside the elevator through up and down button for like forever.
When I already chose the snacks and drinks I wanted inside the convinient store, I immediately paid for it. I was excited, but then I remembered that I forgot my phone, so instead of 23 I pushed the button number 3.
"I forgot my phone, I was planning not to inform you pa naman."
"Oh really? Teasing now huh. Find your phone then."
I shouted his name and ran to him. But then I had to secure the unit that's why I let him go upstairs, bringing maybe my phone, and the snacks with him.
The elevator just went down after bringing him upstairs so I followed.
But when I got someone interesting in my peripheral vision while waiting for the elevator to finally open, I stared at it which made me have my answer to who owns that familiar voice from earlier.
I saw Cerda guy used stairs with vertical oscillation beside elevator to downstairs.
