"All Rise" He said and immediately  gave us an inkling to take our seats.

"Philippines v. Jaden Harvard"

We are now on court.

I don't honestly know a thing or two, of on what these cases had something to do with Michael, I mean regardless of this case as one of my father's, is it the only reason or will he only prove me as time passes by that my words against him were really nothing but abundantly the truth?

"Magistrate Judge Larry Cortez now presiding."

"Afternoon, Assistant Philippine Attorney Anthony Sima for the Philippines."

"Julian Lonnergan from office of Federal Public Defender for the accused." Michael Introduced in an incognito, although he probably knows what might happened if anyone will ever know about the authenticity of his papers. I haven't the foggiest idea on how his self-proclaimed teacher helped him through this, and snitched someone's occupation in transient.

"Will the defendant please rise?" the judge asked right after each of these case's side's introduction.

Therein, the defendant did rise.

"Mr. Harvard, you stand accused of extortion, assault, slavery, torture, and human trafficking, how do you plead?"

Wait, what? This is far from the cases that I was told ah. It's not that they'll leap into another case right away due to some reasons without even having the person you could point out as person of interest in defending your client diba? To whom you could put the blame or even an alibi with the motives your client's being told.

"Your honor, I simply am not the miscreant you should be after with, I was completely framed, stuck in between an operation, and just like that I'll have the rest of my life in my cell? That's preposterous!" He exclaimed.

"Then you plead not guilty?"

"Of course!"

His attorney had a grip on his forearm and had him on his seat.

His side was heard and so will the latter be.

"Your honor, as you may have seen what our resources might be, we've got a surveillance footage of Mr. Harvard committing an act of any violence which actually may conclude him as arsonist, terrorist, incendiary, bomber--"

"Objection, hearsay!"

"Overruled"

"Here is the surveillance as manifestation of the crimes that had been rumored and unsurely committed by the defendant."

He prepared whatever whatnot he wanted to present but I could hear a sarcasm in his tone from prior words he just stated.

It was an obvious film of the said crimes of the defendant, but I believe they were group, what about them then? Not sued, thinking of nothing but job, fearing no one but sob. What's this case? Purely non sense, like an old hag catching Snow White without her elves.

But I could say without a judgement of the authenticity of the video presented that the affirmative of the Philippines weighed heavier than what it was and from how it was neutralized.

I knew how solemn these situations are, but isn't it too quintessential? a guy whose face was beyond jingoistic hubris of all good deeds, not that I'm being manipulated though, admitting he was framed, not even having an ability to provide his lawyer despite the crimes they said "he" committed especially the extortion and sooner or later will be doomed imminently either arrival or spotted on a calaboose by a superior whom asked for a deputy to vicariously pay him what is needed to be payed to him.

Overthinking made me preoccupied that I haven't had my focus on consecutive scenarios in this ongoing trial already.

Until it was done and it's almost dim, sunset.

"So Mr. Lonnergan" I mocked him hanggang sa sabay na naglakad habang lumalabas sa korte. "How is the despicable incognito attorney who had earned for this day a-" I looked and acted confusingly at him "How many again? oh" then chuckled. "Precisely 5 of the objections from the prosecutor"

He smirked at me then talked. "I did talked to your dad, gave him the rendezvous"

"What? How? When?" confused, I asked him, definitely not acting now.

"Want my little clandestine of regime now huh, Sara?" he asked strutting with chest wide open beside me that made me abhor him the fact that I'm with him for like really right now. "Thanks to sleight of a hand and a legerdemain side of me, I'd manage to give the codes within the papers of evidences I gave him between the trial."

I shook my head, unbelievable. "Oh I, I don't want to pry but didn't you discussed all those cases you had studied explicitly last night, but the one that appeared wasn't one of them, was it or did I missed something?" Definitely not.

"Yes, it wasn't mine, let's go?"

I came in with him in his car and continued asking him. " To whom then?"

He stopped and faced me to shotgun seat. "Those cases I explained last night? was completely gibberish and all blabber. You casually told me you can't believe there would be people out there that would do such thing ? That you can't believe they existed? Of course you can't and won't believe because they don't, we're not so lucky country to accord those unbelievably culprits to exist and make a history for them, because none of them exists. 'twas all fictitious, I can't conclude though, I know all types of diabolical persons, I mean who knows no one of my fictitious characters won't exist? there's still a possibility right?"

Surprisingly he's quite attentive and talkative at this moment should our conversation had always to be this smart and serious just so  can make him active? smh, as if I care.

"Wait, where are we going?" I asked him.

"Yes sir, I had it checked, negative. We're not tailed"

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, it was your dad, it was ended, he was asking if it's safe for you to go there without any tail."

"What if there is? Would you go there and do the frisking thing? And come on, not all the time people will act like we're celebrity but in reality no one really cares, so awkward." I pouted. "Oh hey stop there, will you?" I pertained the convenience store.

"Why?"

"It took long time to eat with him in dinner, feels like forever. I'll just go and check for foie gras, it's his favorite, if there is I'll cook, I hope there is."

"What about your tuyo? Isn't that the only thing you knew in cooking?"

"Don't you ever try to deflate me, I was once in culinary arts noh"

"Yeah I know right, for a fleeting moment and how is it?" I looked at him and told him a little about my life, a boring one.

Until our conversation was postponed when Michael posthaste his car as if he's a racer in his Lamborghini Murciélago.
