"Why did you tell her that?"

I asked him. We, after that awkward moment came back to the place we really are going before unexpectedly meeting Kristine. I remembered his morse code so I just acted and she bid goodbye na, looking shocked.

"Good thing you acted"

"I just remembered your code"

He's intently looking at me so I fought. And I admit how strong he is, I had to look away, it's changing the atmosphere, and since I can't just lose it, I'll just make a topic.

"What brought us here?"

"Can't I just be gentleman for a moment?"I slowly nodded.

"Forget it. I want to bring you to a kind of dinner you've never been"He added. I was about to answer but then I almost forgot about his little trick. Ako na naman ang masi 'seen' nito if ever I reply, so hindi nalang ako sasagot and just wait for our food.

"Do we-" his 'we'sounded long" have a problem?" He said with his calming tone. At umiling lang ako as my response, bahala siya diyan.

I had a feeling na he was about to say something pero dumating na yung inorder niya for us.

"I don't want them to doubt on us, that's why I did said that, don't brood, I also have integrity I want to embody"I nodded, still refusing to answer.

I want to freaking talk na but then my pride keeps on pulling the hell out of me. I want to ask him more pero wag nalang.

Akala ko kakain kami ng tahimik but then I saw a wound in his arm, kahit hindi ganoong kalakihan I managed to see it and wanting myself to ask him now as just a concern citizen.

"Michael what happened to you arms?t-the wound, what happened?"

I'm waiting for his answer pero hindi na naman siya sumagot! I would've growl right now. Pero since I'm a concern citizen nga I offered to treat nalang his wound with my first aid kit na I always bring with me.

"Is it embarassing kung hindi ako magd-dress,we could have casual dinner naman ah"

"Do you want to be updated with my plans so you won't be that nosy anymore?" He said changing the topic

"Of course!"

"Okay, but promise me to shut your mouth after that" I gave him a thumbs up, I'm not really that talkative I just had to narrate lol.

"I just decided to date you, that's the update"

It's now my turn to look at him intently and so I did. It'll be minute but I saw him nearly holding my hand so I stop nalang mimicking him and just got a little bit serious at nilayo ang kamay ko .

"Michael, this, this kind of act, could exactly be the reason of your destruction" he was still looking at me so I managed to brainstorm that fast just not to feel that awkward ambiance with him but to continue what I'm saying.

"You know by nature, what kind of person my family is, right?"

"Adoptive family, specifically father" he corrected with a strong tone in the word 'adoptive'

"You keep on hiding things from me. How can I trust you?"

"Follow your instincts"

"Right I will, but will you cooperate?" He's one of the persons closest to me kaya siya lang din ang pwede ko mapagtanungan pero hindi naman niya ako sinasagot.

"I kept on giving you cold shoulder when you're nosy, why didn't you bother or at least whiny ask me about it?"

"I'm actually not the interfering type and your attitude freaking challenged me. I want to know things na"

"What part do you want to start?"

He asked me, and I don't know why my mind just suddenly got blank. I suddenly got nothing to say but just to think.

"Did you freaking used your mojo in me or something?do you have it?" I heared him chuckle then spoke. "Why you got nothing to say? don't waste your chance, this is the last time I could ask you"

"No of course not. Just tell me anything about your life"

"Let's go home" he stood up after niyang punasan ang bibig niya with the table napkin.

He was fast so I have to run at least not that fast. I had to put some discretion so I won't humiliate myself if ever na matapilok.

"Why did you have to leave me? You gave me a chance to ask you so I thou-"

"Stop, I just want to rest, continue asking in your condo."

He drove fast and we were silent.

When we got to our destination, in my unit, I immediately asked him what I was asking him.

"Okay, I've been studying all, in your life ever since I saw you, with Blake"

"And?" We're now sitting on the couch not knowing for some unecessary moves to do.

"I used you as my instrument. To him"

"Huh?" I want to laugh so bad but I supressed it. I don't undestand him. Really. He's like sometimes Blake before. I can't understand both of them. "What are you saying?"

I had a feeling na iiwanan niya na naman ako kaya I held his arm with my one hand as faster as I can, kaya napatayo na din ako.

"And where do you think you're going? Na naman? Really Michael, kailan mo 'ko sasagutin?"

"Can't I have at least ten minutes to fix myself so we both could sleep na after this, or why not tomorrow? Yes! Good Idea, let's continue this tomorrow so it won't add up to anything that causes you to have trouble in sleeping"

I stopped him again, this time with a tighter grip.

"Aight. Ten minutes. May I?"

I decided to do the same thing just in ten minutes.Not that it's too important. Ayoko lang na maisahan na naman niya ako. When I'm done having a half bath and brushing my teeth for precisely eight minutes, I was thinking of getting dressed or doing my skin care routine.
In the end, I chose the latter.

"Okay Michael, tell me now so I can sleep"

He was looking at- wait, I also don't know what he's looking at. He looked like a drug addict wanting for some of it. I think he's avoiding looking at my direction but because I'm too thirsty for  him spilling the tea, I ignored it.

"We met. We had our conversation. Already before."

"Oh how maddening.I knew all of that."

"I used to substitute Blake."
