Quran seemed to get more agitated the more time that passed by, he had been on edge since dinner last night and he was so deep in thought that he barely said a word, I knew hearing about Joseph's dad really fucked with him and brought up memories of his own dad. I couldn't imagine what he was going through and if we weren't in public I probably would've pulled his dick and started suckin it just to take his mind off of whatever he was thinking. But we had some business to handle, while everyone was getting ready for this party tonight here we were meeting with my ex, it was my idea to invite Quran; I didn't want there to be any more drama and with what Loyalty was asking of me and Natalie possibly getting release I wanted to show Quran that LeTarius wasn't with that messy shyt. Quran checked his watch again and I was starting to get annoyed because we had arrived early and LeTarius wasn't supposed to show up for another five minutes; finally LeTarius arrived and I rolled my eyes because I could see he was still as cocky as ever.

"I honestly didn't think you'd show up." LeTarius said dappin me up and nodding towards Quran. "So Semaj, fill me in on everything I've missed since I've been gone." Le'Tarius said and from there we just started talking about a lot of shyt while Quran sat there quietly. "Damn I always thought Victor was coo.... I mean pussy is good but I don't give a fuck how good the pussy, I'm not turning on my Day Ones over no pussy."

"Nigga you talking like you know...." I said laughing and I noticed Quran's mouth start to form a smile before he went back to being stoic.

"I got a son....." LeTarius said and I was caught off guard by that information. "Yeah, this is my little boy...." He said pulling out his phone and showing me a few pictures of him and a little boy. "That's my world, he and his mom will be moving here once I get settle, can't lie I'm missing him like crazy.... but we can discuss his little bad ass later, tell me about this party." He said.

"We're just trying to have fun, so that means leave Savage at home." I said smirking.

"You know I only bring out my alter ego when I have to but since you and August are my niggas I'll keep him in the car." LeTarius said. "How long have y'all been together?" He asked pointing to me and Quran.

"Almost a year...." Quran said and I couldn't help but smile, this was the first time since last night that he showed any emotion, and the way he said it was like, it was the best almost year of his life. "He fell in love with me instantly but it's hard not to.... the first conversation we had we were both ass naked." Quran said and I could feel my face burning with embarrassment while LeTarius laughed. After that the conversation flowed easily, there was no jealousy coming from Quran and no pettiness coming from LeTarius and by the end, they were talking like they were old friends. "He seems coo...." Quran said when we pulled up down the street from Jacobi's house.

"Bout time y'all got here...." Jacobi said when we walked through the door, there were people everywhere people moving shyt around, clearing out space for the party, people in the kitchen cooking, even a DJ who was speaking with De'Vaugh getting shyt set up for tonight.

"I'm just going to let you know now, I'm not doing shyt." I said looking at Jacobi who was reading from a clipboard. "See this is why you shouldn't have waited until the last possible minute to get this shyt done." I said.

"See I wasn't going to ask y'all to help here..... uhh but do you mind going to pick up Beaux? He's uhh stranded in Savannah." Jacobi asked and I was stuck wondering how he got to Savannah and why I had to go pick him up, Beaux was coo as fuck don't get me wrong but I'm not looking forward to making an eight-hour drive there and back. "He went to visit his cousin last night and his car broke down.... please? I'll pay y'all and I'll let y'all use one of my cars." Jacobi said and I looked at Quran, this was his call.
