banri didn't know how long they were standing there, in the middle of the living room just embracing each other.
at first, banri blamed his fatigue over work for the pounding headache in his skull. it was so painful he couldn't help but grunt in pain.
banri felt disoriented and nauseated as [name] pulled out of their embrace to check on him.
"what's wrong?" banri heard her ask.
"damn it... my head's killin' me." banri managed to mutter out in between gasps of pain as he clutched his head.
"what can i do for you? should i get you a glass of water? some pills?" [name] asked banri, trying to stay rational which banri saw through easily.
[name] was panicking over him.
as the pain got more severe, banri fell to his knees, the pounding in his head made him feel like a sore nail sticking out and being hammered down.
his head felt like it was being cut open for a lobotomy without being anesthetized.
"just–" banri started but he cut himself off with another grunt of pain.
banri felt drops of tears fall on his face while he was laying down on the ground, curled up into a ball all the while still clutching his head to attempt to sooth the pain.
"s-stay with me." banri whispered to which name quickly obliged to.
in mere seconds, banri felt [name] lay beside him, embracing his curled up form on the floor.
"it's alright, i'm here..." [name] whispered into his ears.
banri tried to ease his breathing, the pain was still killing him, his vision was being distorted. things we're switching dimensions, from 3d to 4d to 2d and back to 3d again.
banri felt so disoriented, he just wanted this pain to end.
with [name] on his side, banri convinced himself everything will be okay.
banri closed his eyes as he felt the stinging of the numbing pain he was currently in. he saw nothing but black, he was tired, so so tired.
perhaps a little rest wouldn't be so bad right now, would it? accepting this decision, he sighed as he let himself slumber with one thought in mind.
the pain will end and they'll be happy together, forever.
