third person.

"So you know how you love me?" Serenity asked, walking over to Zach and falling onto the bed just beside him, looking at the laptop screen to see what he was doing, "Do you want to go and get McDonalds?"

"Ren it's 2am," Zach replied, looking at her as she nodded.

"And?"

"Everyone in the house is asleep," he continued as she nodded again, "No sorry I'm not giving in this time."

"But I don't think you understand," Serenity replied, moving the laptop out of the way and laying across him as he looked at her, confused with what she was doing, "I can hear the chicken nuggets calling my name."

"Not buying it," he shook his head, folding his arms as the girl frowned, "And you cant use the excuse of it being a craving."

"You're literally turning Renphobic." Serenity huffed as Zach began to laugh, trying to keep it as quiet as possible, "You won't kiss me and now you-"

"Woah hey hey, I did kiss you," Zach interrupted her as she continued to list things.

"You're now interrupting me."

"You're so stubborn." He rolled his eyes and smiled, kissing her cheek before he got himself up, "Fine where are the car keys?"

"Yessss!" She clapped, getting up and grabbing the boy's hoodie before throwing him the car keys.

"I'm tired though so when we get back I expect a cuddle," he told her as she quickly nodded, running down the stairs and out the front door.

Making their way to the car outside of the girls parents house, the night before they were supposed to take their flight back to LA to celebrate new years with their friend group, they made the short drive to McDonald's, which mostly consisted of the pair stuck in a conversation about a few weird things.

"The chicken came first because they needed to produce the egg," Zach looked at her as they stood by a red light, "I'm right, the egg can't be first."

"The egg needs to be there so the chicken can hatch," Serenity furrowed her eyebrows, "It's the egg first."

"It's not." He laughed, "It's the chicken."

"How?" She asked, "The egg needs to hatch the chicken so someone must've made some weird egg and bam a chicken was created when it hatched."

"A chicken isn't an animal made from two different animals," Zach told her, glancing at her before moving his eyes back to the road, "Therefore the chicken came first."

"Now I really want chicken tenders," he continued as Serenity shook her head.

"Good thing we're getting chicken nuggets instead," the girl smiled as they pulled up to the drive thru, Zach turning to look at her.

"What drink do you want?"

"Guess."

"No you change your mind everytime," the boy said as she huffed but nodded in agreement.
