"I can't believe I'm not going to be with you," Tom pouted from across the car. It had been a few weeks since Tom had given her the ring, and ever since then, she hadn't taken it off. Every day, she appreciated him more as she stared at the simple piece of jewellery that adorned her hand.
"You've been with me every day for the past month," Zendaya rolled her eyes, laughing. "A month's trip to London won't hurt."
Tom grumbled out something she couldn't make out as he pushed his final suitcase in the back of her car. After all that had happened, Tom hadn't visited his family in a while, and Zendaya had pushed him to visit, despite the many times Tom had insisted to stay. Zendaya had to threaten him by saying that she would pay for his flight if he didn't go willingly and that immediately got him to shut up. Tom promised he'd be back in a month, but Zendaya hated the fact she'd taken him away from his family.
