Before we start, I just want to bring up the awareness of the recent event that has occurred to our beloved Moon and Eldest Hyung. As all of you know, BTS has gained immense success this year, despite the circumstances, including the release of Dynamite and BE.
With the release of Dynamite, the groups first full English song, they have broken countless records, including getting nominated for the Grammys as Best Duo/Pop group and hitting #1 on Billboard multiple times.
Life goes on is also the first Korean Track to hit #1 on Billboard.
However, throughout this success, our Jinnie also dropped a song on his birthday called Abyss. It's different from his other songs and is very sad and dark. This song is a raw representation of the emotions Jin has gone through this year.
With all the success, BTS received many congratulations and love from friends, family, and fans. Jin couldn't help but wonder if it was okay to receive this much love, and it resulted in him having a burnout. And probably minor depression.
For those of you who don't know, Burnout is another way of saying overworking yourself to the point you can barely carry on or you've just completely drained yourself.
Jin experienced this and when he revealed it, a lot of videos were making more sense. If you compare recent videos now with ones of the beginning of the year, you can see how much weight Jin has lost and how he's been much quieter in videos that were most likely recorded around October/November.
This burn out was so serious that Jin went to receive help, including advice from Bang PD, who suggested the singer to put the emotions into a song. Jin, however unconfident, got convinced and this resulted in the darkly vibrate song of Abyss.
I just wanted to bring the fact up, because, despite Jin revealing this on his birthday, his birthday Vlive was absolutely flooded with disgusting comments such as "Jin I want you to be the father of my kids" and "Jin marry me".
Jin is definitely one of the more bubbly members and energetic ones, but if you take a closer look, Jin's an introvert. He just doesn't show it. Jin only portrays his happy side to both us and the members(behind the camera, not so sure), especially on camera. On top of that, Jin is a talented actor who is yet to have an opportunity to showcase his talent.
Jin isn't as confident as he makes himself out to be, and if you look close enough its quite obvious. He doesn't show his arms or legs that often, let alone his torso. Jin gets shy when there's a lot of attention on him. And he's still not completely confident in his vocal abilities despite having "The highest range" (according to Jimin. And according to Yoongi, both Jimin and Jin can sing in female key), let alone his dance.
Jin works crazy hard, it's evident. He's improved so much and keep growing his skills and abilities. I wanted to tell you all this, despite if you knew it or not, because this is a book and it is fiction. But the events that happened in real life reminded me of this work.
Thank you for listening to my tangent and please give lots of love to our Moon.

Now, lets enjoy the chapter. It's a long one.

Sejin and Officer Kwon, who had come with a CSI's and one other cop, arrived quickly after being called. Jungkook led the adults back into Jin's room, explaining everything that happened. When he had gotten to the phonecall Officer Kwon was rather surprised. He asked if he could talk to the owner of the phone. Jungkook nodded, opening the door and stepping inside.
